StyleTails is the first to launch Meryn’s collection of divine leather dog accessories, all handmade with love from their Oxfordshire workshop.
Inspired by the beauty of leather and intrigued by its heritage, Beth Sparrow turned her long time passion for craftsmanship into a luxury label, Meryn. Launched in 2012, her bold colour-block range of belts and wallets have already a become must-have for those in know, and StyleTails are the first to stock her debut collection of dashing leather dog collars and leads.
“Meryn is about having fun with colour and creating stylish products with presence and character,” says Beth, whose rich earthy colour palette is playfully contrasted with bold trims in vibrant red, mustard and cobalt blue.
“Leather is just a wonderful, natural material – it smells amazing, it looks beautiful and if you look after it, it gets better the longer you have it,” she says.”I love that feeling when you see a well worn piece of leather and instantly you’re wondering about all of the stories behind it.”
Handmade in her Oxfordshire workshop from the finest Italian bridle leathers and solid brass fittings, each piece is crafted with total care and precision. ”Regardless of whether or not you can see it, we never cut corners. Each product is individually numbered in production and we keep an archive of when and where each piece was made, to create a little bit of history,” she explains.
