Use black pillowcases over chair backs to “drape” the chairs for a vampire-themed party
Fill a clean plastic glove with water and freeze it – then remove the glove. You’re left with a “hand” of ice. Put it in a red punch bowl and it looks like a dead hand floating in there!
A graveyard cake that uses Pepperidge Farm Cheesmen cookies as gothic-looking tombstones sticking up vertically in a “cemetery”
A kids’ bat costume that uses an old black umbrella as wings – great way to repurpose a broken umbrella! Pull the fabric off the umbrella frame and cut the umbrella shape in half, then attach each half to a child’s sweatshirt sleeve and side. It’s adorable!
