If you are looking for inspiration when it comes to city weddings, you have come to the right place!

I can’t believe it is nearly the end of 2015. I don’t know whether you agree, but I feel that this year has completely whizzed by.

I think this time of year is the perfect time for reflection. Looking back at my city weddings 2015, it was very difficult for me to pick out my favourite photographs. As the Editor of Style & the Bride, I am lucky enough to look at beautiful real weddings every day. City weddings will always be particularly special for me as I grew up and got married in London. Whatever city you are getting married in, I think you have scope to create whatever kind of style of wedding you want. My one piece of advice for you brides-to-be who are planning city weddings is embrace the city you live in. If you have the opportunity after your ceremony to have photographs out and about in your city, I would encourage you to do so. If this is not a possibility, I would definitely recommend you have an engagement session in the city you are from.

When it comes to city weddings, the colour scheme you choose is of course entirely up to you and your partner. However, I love the idea of going for a very fashionable and modern colour scheme. Think monochrome, grey/silvers, and you will definitely be on the right track. Whatever kind of style/look you are after, I am sure these photographs from my city weddings and city brides will inspire you…
