Cub De Fromage On Ice – Friday 29th April

There are few better ways to spend a Friday night than partying at Alexandra Palace on an ice rink to cheesy pop music. The music will consist of everything from Abba to Taylor Swift and will be joined by a fully licensed bar. Peckham Salvage Yard – Saturday 30th April

Get your vintage fix this weekend at the Peckham Salvage Yard. Find anything from clothing to homeware or even homemade items at this South London market. This event is arranged from the group behind the Hackney Flea Market. Whilst bargain hunting, you can indulge in one of the many street food stalls on offer whilst enjoying music from the live DJ set. Canalway Calvacade – Saturday 30th April

This weekend, Little Venice will be splayed with colour as May bank holiday weekend is set to hold the annual gathering of canal boats organised by the Inland Waterways Association. Roughly 130 boats will be moored along the Grand Union Canal between Blomfield Road, Warwick Avenue and Warwick Crescent for the Canalway Cavalcade. Many of the buildings around will be decorated for the event while morris dancers, real ale tents, trade stalls, live music and children’s activities will offer entertainment for the day. Army Vs Navy Babcock Trophy Rugby Match – Saturday 30th April

On Saturday 80,000 spectators will descend on Twickenham for the largest amateur game in world rugby. A finely tuned Army XV will face off against an in-form Navy XV in the 99th meeting between the two teams. Matches between the women’s and veteran teams will take place earlier on in the day leading up to the main event. Masquerave – Saturday 30th April

Masquerave is a night to truly remember. From Samuel L. Jackson’s cancer charity One For The Boys, this night is billed to be a huge fundraising event for the cause. Some of dance music’s biggest names will be making appearances with names like Jamie XX, Benji B, Eats Everything and Faithless all performing. London Falafel Festival – Sunday 1st May

If you are a falafel lover then there is really only one place for you to be this weekend. The London Falafel Festival is a celebration of the insanely popular vegetarian dish.
