There are many charities out there that seek to help seniors. One of the best, in my opinion, and one that I personally support, is NeedyMeds.

I choose to support them for several reasons…

1) Of all of the prescription drug discount cards I have researched, they offer the most reputable card (in my opinion) with no cost associated with the card and no application to fill out.

I have seen other cards charge up to $20 just to buy the card, and then the discounts offered by those cards with no better than the discounts offered through the NeedyMeds Card.

If you are looking for such a card that can save you up to 80% off of the cost of your medications, just click on the card below and you can print out your own card…

At the moment the amount of money saved by those using the card is around $65,000,000. And that number keeps going up.

2) Education

You can learn a TON of practical information about low-cost clinics, discount prescription cards and free services available for seniors via the NeedyMeds YouTube Channel.

I am a subscriber and would encourage those who are in need of assistance to subscribe as well. The advice and money-saving information provided by Dr. Sagall and his staff are invaluable to all age groups, not just the senior population that I specialize in helping.

3) They are real people

And what I mean by this is merely as follows. I made my first donation to NeedyMeds around the 1st of August.

I received a follow-up call from the staff thanking me for the donation.

Then I got a thank you card in the mail.

What was surprising to me wasn’t that I got the card but that it was hand written! Not a form letter, not a card that had been pre-printed, but a hand written letter, for a measly $25 donation.

I have to say that I was very impressed with what that.

So while I know the economy is tough, and there are plenty of worthwhile charities to support, I would ask for you to consider NeedyMeds as one potential charity that could use your assistance and does amazing work.

They are a very transparent organization and that have financial disclosures readily available on their website so you can see where your money is going.
