When I went to look for free dental care in Vermont, the first thing I did was send an email to the Vermont Dental Association.

And I received the following reply…

I received your email inquiry about free dental care from the Vermont State Dental Association. Dental Lifeline Network operates the Donated Dental Services (DDS) Program nationwide. We just received funding for a dedicated coordinator in Vermont who will begin in early 2014.

In the meantime, we help VT clients through our national safety-net program. I’ve included a link to our website that will provide information about eligibility for the program and an application. http://nfdh.org/donated-dental-services-dds/state-dds-programs/vermon

The link above gives the information for the program coordinator. Start by contacting them for the application and current eligibility requirements.

Vermont Medicaid

The next thing I did was to check out the Vermont Medicaid portal. The search results are here…

But I found 560 dentists that take Medicaid in Vermont. So there are plenty of options for low income seniors to find free dental care in Vermont.
