KiKi's Pole Dancing Scholarship Program Announcement!

It brings me great pleasure to once again announce that in Partnership with the lovely people at StudioVeena I am able to offer 2 separate scholarships for 1 year of pole dancing lessons through www.studioveena.com .

Wait, what?

You heard me! Once again I am offering you the chance to apply to get one of the 2 free 1 year subscriptions to the lessons on Studio Veena!

But, why?

I love pole dancing. It has brought me so much happiness and I want to be able to share that joy with as many people as possible. This is about giving back to the Pole Community that I love.

As many of us know, pole dancing can be an expensive hobby, and I wanted to find a way to provide the opportunity for someone to take lessons who may not ordinarily be able to financially. I chose to make the scholarship specific to StudioVeena as I am aiming this scholarship at beginner, intermediate, and brand new dancers. In my own opinion the lessons at StudioVeena are great for beginners and those still learning the way of the pole.

That being said, if you are an advanced dancer who still feels they would benefit from this scholarship, feel free to apply. :) This is open to everyone.

If you have never checked out the lessons before then please head on over and try out the 2 free lessons they have available and check out Veena's teaching style.

How did this happen?

Well, in August 2012, I was sitting around thinking about how much pole dancing as a hobby can cost and how I often hear about those who want to learn but can't afford to attend a studio or pay for lessons and end up frustrated. I decided I wanted to offer a scholarship to someone to help make a difference. I approached StudioVeena about how I could do this and they generously matched my donation of a years subscription to Veena's lessons. Thanks to them I can now offer 2 scholarships! They generously have helped me run this program multiple times.

*A big thank you to the wonderful folks at StudioVeena for their donations and continued support!*

I would also like to thank Webmaster over at StudioVeena for all of his help in making this a possibility.

How can I apply?

It's simple really! First, head over to Studio Veena and create yourself an account if you don't already have one. It is free to open up an account and then you will have access to the forums, user videos, blogs and community. You must have a user account to apply for this scholarship.

Second, Like this blog on facebook so you can get any updates or changes in regards to applications for the scholarship process. (I may ask for feedback form my readers about which entries deserve to win, after narrowing it down a bit. So send your friends over to support you!)

Finally, read all the rules and write me a one page story about why you feel you would benefit from a year's subscription to the lessons at StudioVeena. Have you ever poled before? How has pole dancing affected your life? If you have never pole danced before, tell me how you feel that using Veena's lessons will make it happen. If you have pole danced before, tell me why you think Veena's lessons will help you and what you will gain from them. Basically tell me why I should pick you above others. (Hint, making me laugh always helps ;) ) Bonus points to those of you who share a photo or video of themselves dancing with or without a pole.

Within this story you will provide the following information:

You cannot be related to me! You folks know who you are.

You cannot have been one of the winners of the 2012 Fall Scholarship Program or the 2013 Spring Scholarship Program.

How do you choose the winner?

That's the hard part.

Your application must meet all the requirements and rules listed above. If you have questions about any of these please don't hesitate to ask me. I will be making the final choice on the winners based on what is shared. It is your job to convince me why I should pick you. How will you use the scholarship to grow as a dancer?

I will take into consideration the opinions of those in the pole community when I share portions of your application on the blog but the final decision will be mine. This is never an easy choice and I put a lot of thought into it. Please share the entry post with your friend so they can give their opinions on who should win.

Good luck to everyone and please share this opportunity around as much as possible.

The goal here is to spread the joy that pole dancing has created for so many of us with others. Let's work to expand the love for the pole dancing community. This contest is open to anyone around the world who meets the requirements(see rules and requirements). Please translate your entry into English for me though :)

I will be sharing some of the stories submitted simply for the purpose of sharing the love of pole dancing that everyone has. If you wish to comment on a story and give me feedback on why you think it deserves to win I will take it into consideration but ultimately the winners will be chosen by me.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me in this program and shares it around to help spread the joy that pole dancing has with others. <3 the pole community.

Sincerely,

Krissykiki
