With around 35,000 film professionals and over 4,000 international journalists coming together for the world’s biggest film event, it pays to have all the information you need to hand. Whether you want to submit a film, check your accreditation status, download press material or get practical information, this is the place to do it.

To submit a film, you need to:

1. Comply with the Preselection Conditions

2. Fill out the online Entry Form

3. Download your film online (for short films)

4. Send your film (for feature films) to the address indicated at the bottom of the Entry Form

5. If your film is selected, you must comply with the Rules and Regulations

Films can be selected for the the Official Selection: Competition (features and shorts), Out-of-Competition or Un Certain Regard. However, the Selection Committee decides which section a film can participate in.

THE CAMERA D’OR

The Caméra d’Or is not a specific category; it is an award. However, all selected first features compete for the Caméra d’Or, awarded to the best first film presented in the Official Selection (Competition, Out-of-Competition, Un Certain Regard), in the Director’s Fortnight or in the Semaine de la Critique.
