I’m not celebrating Valentine’s Day this year as I’m single, so I’m going to use that as an excuse to treat myself on Tuesday instead. When I say ‘gift guide’, what I actually mean is a bunch of stuff that I want but don’t want to spend money on. So basically, if I have a secret admirer/stalker out there who happens to be reading this, you can buy me any of these to try to win me over.
I was kindly sent a selection of products from Amara Living and among them was this Kate Spade thermal mug which is just beautiful and is perfect for taking a coffee on the train to avoid paying over the odds for one at the station. The Vermeil candle smells amazing and would make a great gift for anyone who loves the smell of vanilla as much as I do.
A couple of items that are high on a lot of girls’ wishlists at the moment are the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette and the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick. I wasn’t keen on the Too Faced palette when it first came out, I didn’t know what all the fuss was about but I swatched it when I was in London last week and just fell in love. The colours are amazing and I’m going to see if I can get the Makeup Revolution dupe to try out before I shell out for the real thing. The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipliner is a cult favourite and I had to try it out for myself – although I love the colour, I’m not too keen on the formula so I don’t use it that often. Now that she has come out with a lipstick in the same shade, I’m going to have to get my hands on it!
