MXL2 is the new AiMdashlogger designed to acquire and display data coming from yourECU, the internal accelerometer and gyro, as well as from the GPSModule included in the kit, analog/digital inputs andpredefined math channels.
Performance and data acquired can also be incremented adding up toeight expansion modules.

You can define up to eight different custompages, choosing among a wide library of page styles, defining whichdata to be shown, their end of scale and measure units.

The MXL2 display features ahigh contrast traditional LCD, with a black to white ratio nearlydouble its predecessor, fused with a graphical LCD offering greatflexibility in information display and alerts.
The MXL2 now offers a dualcolored backlight of high contrast white and red which can also bechanged conditionally.
An ambient light sensor keeps the backlight at optimum brightnesslevels.
Six different alarm LEDs: you choose theconditions, the colors and the flashing frequency.
You can configure them in order to turn them on/off depending onanalog or digital inputs, ECU values, expansion values, GPSinformation or math channels.
You can also associate an alarm LED a messageand a digital output with each event.
An integrated shift light is a hallmark ofthe MXL, but an even better 10 LED shift light array is found inthe MXL2.
Choose from a host of advanced multicolored RGB shift lightpatterns that can be customized to your liking, and for each uniquegear when required.

Connecting the MXL2 to your car is veryeasy.
You do not need to cable your car again: just connect the specificadapter harness to your standard AiM MXL harness and immediatelyexploit the huge potential of the newest MXL2.

Using the built-in CAN bus, you can addexpansion modules to the MXL2 to increment theperformance and the data acquired:
GPS Module
Thanks to GPS05 Module andits GPS manager software, you can immediately get laptimes andall data needed for engine tuning as well as for improving drivingtechnique.
ChannelExpansion
It permitsto add 4 0-5Volt analog channels for pressure, temperature sensorsand potentiometers. Two of these channels can be configured toreceive digital inputs like wheel speed.
TC Hub
It adds 4 Kthermocouples.
LCU-ONE LambdaController Wide band Lambda controllerLCU-One, with Bosch LSU 4.9 probe, providing all Air/Fuel data,lambda value and exhaust gas temperature, allows to perfectly tunethe carburetion.
SmartyCam HDCameras
The on-board cameras thatoverlays on videos the data sampled by yourlogger.

Memory Module
Thanks to the SD Card,Memory Module can record all your data in a file that can bedownloaded on your PC for post-analysis. Memory Module, with 16Gbcapability, can be connected via CAN-Bus to MXL2 and to all AiMloggers.

Analysis
With Race Studio 3 you can alsoanalyse all data recorded byMXL2 and downloaded to yourPC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study yourperformance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes andimprove performances.
