We spend a lot of time scouring the Web for tasty, trendy, and healthy recipes. It's one of the many perks of working at Greatist. In the process, we come across some amazing resources for easy meals that prove cooking healthy doesn't have to be expensive or a giant time suck. And now, we want to make a habit of sharing them with you!

This week's featured foodie is Aylin of Glow Kitchen. As a certified clinical nutritionist, Aylin's goal is to share healthy recipes that "omit the sh*t but save the taste" and to spread the idea that real food is health food. For proof, check out these seven clean-eating desserts that are super simple to make.

1. Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe doesn't require eggs or butter, but the cookies still have that soft, cake-like texture you crave. The sugar is replaced with turbinado and the chocolate chips with carob chips, so grabbing seconds (or thirds!) is NBD.

2. Almond Butter Dark Chocolate Bark

I love the versatility and foolproof nature of this sweet treat. Add any dried fruit or nut you have on hand and, voilà—you've got a healthy, homemade energy bar with a touch of chocolate.

3. Healthier Homemade Nutella Balls

It doesn't get much easier than this five-ingredient recipe. I reach for these when I hit that midday slump around 3 p.m. They give me energy without the sugar rush.

4. Vegan Beet Chocolate Cake

You won't taste the beets in this rich chocolate cake, but they enhance the cocoa flavor by adding depth and an earthy aroma. It's like a healthier version of your favorite red velvet recipe.

5. Vegan Sugar-Free Fudge Brownies

When it comes to brownies, density is key, and these vegan fudge brownies don't disappoint. I devour them with a big glass of homemade almond milk (and dip as I go!).

6. Vegan Carrot Cupcake With Fig Cream Frosting

This cupcake recipe is so healthy you can have it for breakfast, as a snack, or for dessert. The fig cream frosting makes each bite a bit sweeter and creamier and a whole lot more delicious.

7. Clean Eating Upside-Down Chocolate Chip Cake

A lot of healthy dessert recipes skimp on presentation, but this one, well—takes the cake! It's a great go-to as the centerpiece on the dessert table at the next party you host.
