Operation Christmas Child: Shoebox update – the boxes have gone to the Samaritans’ Purse depot in Market Street, Nantwich. Thank you so much for all the completed boxes and equally for all the items contributed, which have helped me make many more boxes. Once again, the knitting this year was amazing and has all been used! Jenny Clews
St. Mary’s Posada, 1st-21st December: This Latin American festival dramatises Mary & Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem. This year we’re celebrating Posada again and need hosts to offer our cuddly Mary & Joseph a bed for the night and a lift to their next home. Please sign up in Church. Saturday Steward needed 3-4pm: Do you have an hour to spare each week for this enjoyable duty welcoming our many visitors? Training is provided. Please ring Penny Smith (611227) or Liz Chisnall (624818).
Christmas cards and Christmas-themed stamps are now available in the Church Shop plus new book titles to help you on your spiritual journey through Advent. Christmas Stickers, Colouring and Story books and gifts also available. Come and have a coffee/browse anytime – open Monday to Saturday, 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Bible Reading Fellowship notes are available in the post file for current subscribers. Some spare copies are available plus an introductory sample should anyone wish to try these notes to assist daily Bible reading. Please contact Beth Roberts (07703 126163) for more information.

Add Food to Advent: As a way of preparation and showing thanksgiving for God’s great gift at Christmas, everyone is being given the opportunity to make a small donation (a tin or packet of something) to the Food Bank each week during Advent. There is a crate at the back of church for your gifts. Please make sure items are well within Best Before dates.
If you would like to make a donation towards Christmas flowers, perhaps in memory of a loved one, please hand it to Gill Appleton, Glenys Ellis, the Church Shop or Parish Office in an envelope clearly marked. Thank you.
