PRESS RELEASE – The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development and Labour invites suitably qualified persons to submit applications for the Government of Saint Lucia-Monroe College Scholarship to pursue Bachelor’s Degrees tenable at Monroe College (St. Lucia Campus).
The award covers fifty percent (50%) of your tuition fees, commencing the academic year September 2015 and does not include the cost of books and any other costs associated with the degree.
In order to be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
1. be citizens of St. Lucia – proof of citizenship must be submitted;
2. have gained acceptance into Monroe College (St. Lucia Campus) for the academic year commencing September 2015, to pursue full-time studies; a letter of acceptance must be submitted;
3. be in financial need (Financial Needs Assessment form must be completed).
Applicants are to note that:
a. the scholarships are non-transferrable and must be accepted in the semester awarded;
b. students must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0. The scholarship
may be withdrawn if the requisite GPA is not maintained.
Please note that incomplete and late application forms will NOT be considered.
