Wolves rally for 3-2 triumph over Iowa

ROSEMONT, IL --- Forward Philip McRae's goal with 3:48 left lifted the Chicago Wolves to a 3-2 victory over Iowa on Saturday night at Allstate Arena.

Forwards Benn Ferriero and Ty Rattie also scored for the Wolves (11-4-3-0), who had to rally from a 2-0 deficit in their first home game since Nov. 1. Goaltender Jordan Binnington (6-2-1) stopped 26 shots for the win.

"It was almost identical to (Friday at Milwaukee)," said Wolves head coach John Anderson, who earned his 362nd American Hockey League win to pull into a share for fifth place on the AHL all-time list. "Our starts have not been good as of late. I think I know a couple of reasons why. Hopefully we can remedy it tomorrow because we don't have time to fool around because we turn around and play Rockford."
