Celebrate in Webster Groves – Community Days

Webster Groves Community Days is an annual event to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday. The Citizen’s Committee for Community Days organizes all of the activities for the event. The Webster Groves Lions Club also holds its annual carnival and barbecue charity fundraiser during the celebration. All activities (aside from the carnival and barbecue) are free and are funded through donations from businesses, organizations, and the citizens of Webster Groves.

Overland Community Fireworks Display

“BOOM, BOOM, POW!” The “Community Fireworks Display at Ritenour High School” will be held again this year on July 3rd, 2016 at Ritenour High School, 9100 St. Charles Rock Road, St Louis, MO 63114. The following communities have agreed to help sponsor the event: Breckenridge Hills, Edmundson, Overland, St. Ann, St. John, Vinita Park, Woodson Terrace, North County Police Cooperative, and St. Louis County. We would also like to thank the Ritenour School District, Community Fire Protection District, Lambert- St Louis International Airport and MODOT.

Fourth of July Celebration at Bluebird Park in Ellisville

The City of Ellisville will host its Annual Independence Day Celebration in Bluebird Park on Monday, July 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Bluebird Park. Fireworks are scheduled from 9:30 to 10:00.

6 p.m. – Celebration begins (food, games, children’s activities)

7 p.m. – Griffin and the Gargoyles

8 p.m. – Independence Day Ceremony

Kirkwood Freedom Festival at Kirkwood Park

EVENT DETAILS:

Times: Grounds open at 11 am, Breakfast at Legion Hall at 9 am

Description: The community of Columbia bands together to form the July Fourth Committee and puts on this Independence Day celebration that features food, beer, and other refreshments, bingo, a washer tournament, a Kloepper tournament, and other entertainment. Fireworks begin at dusk.

Arnold July 4th Celebration at Arnold City Park:

Celebrate Independence Day with your family and friends! Our famous Red, White, and Blue Celebration begins at 5 pm on Monday, July 4, at Arnold City Park.

Enjoy kids inflatables, food and live music sponsored by SSM Health St. Clare Hospital, beginning at 7:00 pm.

A spectacular fireworks display sponsored by Anheuser Busch will begin at approximately 9:15 pm.

JB Blast

JB Blast is a free celebration at Jefferson Barracks Park in South St. Louis County. There is live music by the U.S. Air Force Band at the Veteran’s Memorial Amphitheater. The evening ends with a big fireworks display.

4th of July Fireworks Celebration: Chesterfield Mall

Come join us for the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration that has grown to be the biggest and best fireworks show in the metropolitan area, presented by the City of Chesterfield and sponsored in part by Sachs Properties and Chesterfield Mall.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
6:30 PM-9:30 PM: Commerce Bank Kid’s Zone opens

7:00 PM-9:00 PM: Mclovin performs on the Main Stage

9:30 PM-10:00 PM: Fireworks

MAIN STAGE: MCLOVIN
The Main Stage will feature live music from Mclovin, one of the most sought-after party bands in the St. Louis area, from 7:00 pm until 9:30 pm.

COMMERCE BANK KID’S ZONE

New this year, the Commerce Bank Kid’s Zone will have Circus Kaput, a two-hour circus show featuring unicycling, juggling, magic, aerial acts, stiltwalker, teeterboard, fire breathing, acrobatics, audience participation and much more. The Kid’s Zone will also have 15 carnival games including putt-putt challenges, a frog hop and ring toss, plus two bubble machines! Inflatable bounce houses, slides and an obstacle course will keep the kids entertained before the fireworks show. Kid’s Zone will be open from 6:30 pm-9:00 pm.

FIREWORKS

The main viewing area will be in the west parking lot near Dillard’s and Macy’s at Chesterfield Mall. The fireworks show will begin promptly at 9:30 pm.

PARKING

Parking is provided on the lots surrounding Chesterfield Mall, with handicap parking available. Shuttle buses will circle Chesterfield Mall Drive to transport visitors to the viewing area, if needed. Shuttle buses equipped to handle wheelchairs will also be available. Motorized vehicles of any kind are not allowed in the viewing area.

FOOD VENDORS

Great local food vendors will feature a variety of delicious food that includes Indian, Italian and Mexican cuisine, plus a casual menu of Kona Ice, Fitz’s Rootbeer, Sugarfire, pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs. Patrons are also invited to bring their own food and beverages.

WHAT TO BRING (AND NOT BRING)

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or other seating for their comfort and ease of viewing. The following items will not be permitted at the event: tobacco products, glass bottles, aerosol cans, laser pens/pointers, weapons of any kind, illegal substances, barbeque grills, tents, fireworks, or pets (except for service animals).
