At St. James Plantation, voted one of the nation’s best places to retire, we have plenty of neighbors who are proud to call our community home!  We have everything you need to enjoy an active, healthy retirement, including four championship golf courses, several fitness centers and community pools, miles of walking and biking paths as well as plenty of community clubs and activities.

If all of these things don’t keep you busy enough, try volunteering during retirement! Spending some time volunteering is a great way to stay active and help out in the community!  According to a study by “Do Good Live Well,” retirees who volunteer are reported to have higher levels of well-being and:

1. Feel in better physical shape

2. Feel younger

3. Feel good about getting older
