The late, great professional wrestler Owen Hart had a popular catch phrase that was even integrated into his entrance theme: “Enough is enough and it’s time for a change.”
That’s the way I felt about the Stevivor Forums since joining the team. So with a bit of nagging, pleading and possibly even a Bridging Northern Lights Suplex, in dedication to the ‘King of Harts’, that change has happened!
We want to expand the Stevivor Community and not just be a place you come to for news, reviews, opinion articles and the occasional competition. We want Stevivor.com to be a place to hang out with other like minded people and discuss almost anything and everything!
We’ve given the forums a major overhaul, with new boards, including:
The locker room: For sports discussions. Talk NRL, AFL, NFL, NHL and just about any other L you can think of! Personally I am always open to Professional Wrestling discussion… if you hadn’t guessed by now.
Stevivor garage sale: For advertising your items for sale, swap or give away – we are looking more at gaming related gear, but if you have something you think someone else would want, then post it!
The Stevivor Lounge: For general chit-chat. Movies. Music, TV, whatever. Pretty much anything that doesn’t already have a home.
The Funhouse: Where almost anything goes! Jokes, pics, memes, but all within reason! Expect trolls. Ignore them or pay out on them – choice is yours.
Serious stuff: It’s your no nonsense thread (hard to believe that we can actually be serious, right?). Here you can talk about stuff like life, love, politics, work and other things where you would like an intelligent response. We’ll try to keep this on as troll free as possible.
We’ve given our Friendly Fire podcast a home as well. From here you will find a link to our podcast with the MMGM guys, have a listen and leave your thoughts.
You’ll also be able to comment on content we post on the Stevivor.com homepage, with commenting on our reviews and opinion articles available in the near future.
All the original threads are still there, including the Introductions thread, where we’d like you to post a little about yourself. Of course our dedicated console and PC threads are there as well as a general gaming discussion board. If you have any ideas for our Forums or you find something isn’t working quite right, drop us a line in our Help, Suggestions and Support board. In keeping with the building of the Stevivor Community, our Community Board (No. Not based on the TV series. Although that would be cool) is a great place to organise gaming nights or nights on the town with other forum members. That’s right, REAL PEOPLE!
The records show that the current record for most people online at one time is 77 back in May. I am sure that with all the recent improvements to our forums we can top that. So what have you got to lose? Sign up and check it out. We look forward to seeing you!
