2015 and 2016 are going to bring hundreds of new cars from manufacturers around the world. New technologies will be introduced, new segments will be created and many surprises will come with the launch of new cars during the next two years.
Here’s a comprehensive report on the upcoming car launches for 2015 and 2016 including the cars officially announced & exclusively known to be launched. Note that not all launch dates have been officially confirmed.
Alfa Romeo
Giulia
The Alfa Romeo Giulia is planned to go on sale in Europe in Spring 2015 and in U.S. in early 2016.
Aston Martin
DB11
Aston Martin’s DB9 successor, the alleged DB11, is said to debut with an AMG-sourced twin-turbocharged engine at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March and go on sale in the second half of the same year.

The 2015 Audi Q7 will go on sale in Summer 2015 as the second-generation model.
A4
The 2015 Audi A4 will arrive in Summer 2015 as the fifth-generation model.
A4 Avant
The 2015 Audi A4 Avant will go on sale soon after the A4.
A5
The second generation Audi A5 coupe will be underpinned by the MLB platform and be unveiled in 2016.
A6
The all-new Audi A6 will arrive in 2017 to compete with its major rivals BMW 5-series and Mercedes E-Class.
R8
The second generation Audi R8 goes on sale in the UK in Summer 2015 and in the U.S. in Spring 2016.
Bentley
Grand Convertible
The convertible version of the Mulsanne that made its debut in concept form at the 2014 Los Angeles Motor Show will arrive in late 2015.
Bentayga
The luxury automaker’s first SUV is likely to be unveiled in its production avatar later this year and will go on sale in early 2016.
RWD sports car
The British marque will launch an extreme rear-wheel drive sports car in 2016.

Camaro
The sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro will go on sale in the U.S. in late 2015 as MY2016 model. It will become available in Europe in Spring/Summer 2016 as an LT and V8 model.
Camaro Convertible
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible will go on sale in early 2016 in the U.S.
Volt
The second generation Chevrolet Volt goes on sale in the U.S. in late 2015 as MY2016 model, with a starting price of US$33,995.
Cruze
The second generation Chevrolet Cruze goes on sale in the U.S. in early 2016 albeit as a petrol-only model for MY2016. Diesel model will follow in 2017.
Spark
The fourth generation Chevrolet Spark goes on sale in the U.S. in Q4 2015 as MY2016 model. It will built at and imported from GM’s Changwon, South Korea assembly facility.
Malibu
The ninth generation Chevrolet Malibu goes on sale in the U.S. in Q4 2015 as MY2016

The facelifted Chrysler 300 goes on sale in teh UK in Summer 2015.

The Ferrari 488 GTB, the twin-turbocharged replacement for the Ferrari 458 Italia is slated for Summer 2015 launch.

The iconic 500 city car’s facelift will go on sale in first markets in Europe in Summer 2015.
Aegea Project
The Italian automaker new compact saloon named the “Aegea Project” for the time being will go on sale in November 2015 with a different name. The new compact sedan, a long term successor to the Fiat Linea, will gradually enter over 40 markets in the EMEA region.
124 Spider
The legendary roadster will make a comeback in late 2015 and go on sale in early 2016. It will be based on the fourth generation Mazda MX-5 and be built at Mazda’s plant in Hiroshima, Japan.
Ford
S-Max
The second-generation Ford S-Max arrives in Summer 2015.
C-Max/Grand C-Max
The facelifted 2015 C-Max (five-seat) and 2015 Grand C-Max (seven-seat) MPVs will be launched in Summer 2015.
Mustang
For the first time, the Ford Mustang will be sold in the UK in right-hand-drive form, beginning from Autumn 2015. In the U.S. and Canada though, the muscle car has already been updated for MY2016. The updated model will go on sale in late 2015.
Fiesta
The next generation Fiesta arrives in 2017.
Focus RS
The third-generation Ford Focus RS, one of the latest car from the Ford Performance Vehicles range, will go on sale Europe in early 2016 and in the U.S. in Spring 2016.
Ka
All-new Ford Ka arrives in late 2015. It will be a Euro-spec version of the one sold in Brazil, meaning that Ford will not have to rely on Fiat for its A-Segment entry.
Edge
The Ford Edge will go on sale for the first time in Europe in late 2015.
Galaxy
The seven-seat Ford Galaxy will go on sale in its fourth-generation avatar in Summer 2015.
GT
The second-generation Ford GT supercar will be launched in 2016 with a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine.
Honda
Civic
The next generation Honda Civic arrives in early 2016.
Civic Type R
The 2015 Civic Type R reaches European dealerships in July 2015.
Jazz
The third-generation Honda Jazz will be launched in Summer 2015. The all-new Jazz has been completely redesigned. The wheelbase has been increased by 30 mm for more spaciousness in the cabin.
CR-V facelift
The 2015 Honda CR-V will arrive in Spring 2015 with moderate styling changes and newly added features. The new CR-V will debut the Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (i-ACC) feature, a predictive cruise control system which the company claims to be world’s first.
HR-V
The new Honda HR-V will arrive in Summer 2015 as a head-to-head rival of the Nissan Juke and the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
NSX
The highly anticipated second-generation Honda NSX will be launched in late 2015. It will be sold in the U.S. under Honda’s premium brand Acura.
Hyundai

The 2015 Hyundai ix20 will be launched in late 2015. The 2015 model is a mere facelift that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
Tucson
The third generation Hyundai Tucson will go on sale in the U.S. in July 2015 and in Europe in September 2015.
Santa Fe
The facelifted third generation Hyundai Santa Fe arrives in Europe in late 2015 and in the U.S. in early 2016.
Infiniti
Q30
The Infiniti Q30 compact premium hatchback arrives in Europe in late 2015. The Q30 will be built at Nissan’s assembly plant in Sunderland in the UK.
QX30
The Infiniti QX30 will be the Q30’s crossover version and will be launched in Europe in late 2015.

The mildly revised Jaguar XJ goes on sale in Europe in Fall 2015.
XE
The Jaguar XE is already on sale in Europe, but will reach US and Canadian dealerships only in Spring 2016.

The company’s first SUV, Jaguar F-Pace, will be launched in 2016. The Jaguar F-Pace SUV will be based on the Jaguar C-X17 concept and powered by the automaker’s latest, Ingenium engine range.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee range will get refreshed with a facelifted model in 2016.

The Lotus Evora 400 goes on sale in Europe in August 2015 and in the U.S. in fall 2015.

Levante
The Maserati Levante arrives in early 2016. The luxury crossover will be based on the Maserati Kubang concept that was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.

MX-5
The fourth generation Mazda MX-5 roadster is set for a late Summer 2015 market launch in Europe and the U.S. First batch of the 2016 MX-5 models has already landed in the U.S.

P1 GTR
The track-only McLaren P1 GTR that was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show will have a market launch in Summer 2015.
540C
The McLaren 540C, the new entry-level supercar for will arrive in Europe in early 2016. The new coupe goes on sale in the U.S. in H2 2016.

The McLaren 675LT (LT stands for Longtail) will go on sale in July 2015.
Mercedes-Benz
E-Class
The next generation Mercedes E-Class will have its market launch in Europe in 2016, after its reported unveiling at the NAIAS 2016.
C-Class Coupe
The all-new C-Class Coupe, following its debut at the 2015 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, goes on sale in 2016 in first markets.
Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Pullman
The all-new Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Pullman will go on sale in early 2016. Both armoured and standard models will be available.
S-Class Cabriolet
The new generation Mercedes S-Class Cabriolet featuring a folding fabric roof based will be launched in 2015.
GLE
The Mercedes-Benz ML-Class will adopt the new nomenclature with the launch of the updated model, which will be called the Mercedes GLE-Class. It goes on sale in USA, Germany and other first markets in August 2015. UK sales commence a month later.
GLE Coupe
The Mercedes GLE Coupe goes on sale in the U.S. in August 2015. First European markets including Germany will get the new coupe-styled crossover a month later.
GLC
The Mercedes GLC-Class goes on sale in first European markets in September 2015. It will reach U.S. dealerships in November the same year.
A-Class
The facelifted 2016 Mercedes A-Class goes on sale in first European markets in September 2015.
G-Class
The recently updated G-Class range goes on sale in Germany and other first European markets in September 2015. Global markets will start getting it from December the same year. The new range also includes the new non-AMG range-topper – G 500 4×4².
SLC
The facelifted Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class arrives in 2016 as the Mercedes SLC-Class moniker.
C 350 Plug-In Hybrid
The Mercedes C 350 Plug-in Hybrid will go on sale in the UK in June 2015 and in the U.S. in fall 2015.
C 450 AMG
The Mercedes-Benz C 450 AMG goes on sale in Europe in June 2015 and in the U.S. in fall the same year.
