Steamboat CEOs nominees for CEO of the Year award

Chief executives for real estate development company Brinkman Partners and outdoor retailer Big Agnes were recently nominated as CEOs of the year by ColoradoBiz Magazine.

Brinkman Partners CEO Paul Brinkman and Big Agnes CEO Bill Gamber, both of Steamboat Springs, were nominated alongside Denver Broncos CEO Joe Ellis and Gov. John Hickenlooper, among others, according to a news release.

Brinkman Partners, headquartered in Fort Collins and with offices in Steamboat and Denver, provides commercial real estate brokerage, development, construction and real estate management.

Denver Broncos' Joe Ellis received the honor of top CEO.

Now in its 12th year, the ColoradoBiz Statewide CEO of the Year award seeks to recognize outstanding professional achievement and community impact, while taking into account obstacles surmounted, career body of work or other unique elements. Nominations from Colorado’s business community, ColoradoBiz readers and staff are evaluated by a judging panel.

SSIR brokers partner to form new team

Ivy Baker and Molly Hibbard, of Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty, have joined to create the Baker-Hibbard Team, according to a news release.

The structure of the Baker-Hibbard collaboration is unlike most real estate teams, which have one team leader with the majority of experience, supported by other team members. Hibbard and Baker are both independently established real estate professionals and longtime Steamboat residents, bringing expertise from their combined 25-plus years working in the Steamboat market.

“I am excited to partner with Molly in this new venture,” Baker said. “We both take great pride in providing exemplary service to our clients and in going above and beyond in meeting their expectations.”

“My greatest joy is in working with my clients toward a common goal and helping them to achieve their dreams," Hibbard said. "With the Baker-Hibbard Team, we now have double the resources to deliver the results that our clients have come to expect from us."

SSIR targeting Chinese homebuyers

Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC and Juwai.com have partnered to bring the luxury real estate brand to Chinese buyers, according to a news release. As an international brand, Sotheby’s International Realty has the most global representation on Juwai.com, displaying luxury listings from 65 countries and territories, including all Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty listings in the Yampa Valley.

Juwai.com is a worldwide real estate website, with more than 2 million monthly visitors. Juwai.com has more indexed pages than all other portals combined on Baidu, China’s largest search engine.

The alliance will include listing display, real-time response to inquiries from Chinese buyers, a band page and banner advertising.

Behind the United States, China is the second driver of visits to sothebysrealty.com. Currently, one out of 10 visitors on sothebysrealty.com is from China.

Juwai.com is hosted on both sides of China’s internet firewall, meaning its property listings are visible online both inside and outside China. The website listings are monitored by a support team that translates and directs consumer inquiries to agents.
