UP IN THE AIR
Thirty balloons are set to lift off at the 34th annual Steamboat Springs Hot Air Balloon Rodeo at 6:30 a.m. July 11 at Bald Eagle Lake. The rodeo portion features contests like the lake dip. Attendees can take a break from watching the balloons with a stop at one of the food and beverage vendors or at the Art in the Park event. At 8:15 p.m., the balloons will light up the base of Steamboat Ski Area during the Balloon Glow.

SUMMER FLAVORS
The Steamboat Farmers Market is back for its 11th year with 80 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, jewelry, art and other items from Steamboat Springs and across Colorado. The popular market will feature returning local favorites, such as the Sweet Pea Market and Eat a Peach, and new vendors, such as Murphy’s Market Stand and the Colorado Dumpling Company. The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through Sept. 19 at Seventh and Yampa streets near the river in downtown Steamboat.

EXCITING RODEO ACTION
The Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series kicks off another season of weekly rodeos. Locals and visitors alike can enjoy bull riding, team roping, bareback riding, steer wrestling and more every Friday and Saturday night this summer at the Brent Romick Rodeo Arena.
