Jerusalem at the IMAX Theater - The documentary film “Jerusalem” plays each day through  May 30 at The IMAX Theater at World Golf Hall of Fame. This film explores how this small city became such a pivotal part of human history.  Jerusalem is home to some of the most sacred sites in the world for Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Journey: 450 Years of the African-American Experience - Journey: 450 Years of the African American Experience covers the long and storied history of African-Americans in St. Augustine. The story of African-Americans begins in St. Augustine with the first Africans both free and slave among founding colonists in 1565. The exhibition is designed for cultural and heritage visitors interested in the full history of America and its beginnings and comprises four themes: Genesis of the African-American Experience; Fortress of Freedom; Breaking the Chains; and Crossroads of Change.  Tickets are $5 for adults; $4 for seniors; $3 for youth 7-12; under 7 free. El Galeón Tour - Tour a full-sized replica of a 17th century Spanish galleon. Docked at the St. Augustine City Marina, El Galeón Andalucia is an exact replica of the famous galleons that played an important role in the creation and maintenance of the Spanish Empire.  Built in Spain, it is similar to the galleon that brought Pedro Menendez to Florida where he founded St. Augustine in 1565.  The ship is available for tours beginning at 10 a.m. daily. Society of Mixed Media Exhibition – A juried exhibition of the Society Of Mixed Media Artists. Chosen artists will exhibit their latest works of art. The Last Good War: The Faces and Voices of World War II – Exhibit of photographs of 30 World War II veterans along with their stories of the Last Good War opens at the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach.  Photographer Thomas Sanders captured these images and stories now presented in a traveling exhibition that will be at the Cultural Center through April 4.  The Cultural Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Admission is free.  50 Executive Way, Ponte Vedra Beach.  904-280-0614 www.ccpvb.org

“Who Stole the American Dream” Lecture – The Flagler College Forum on Government and Public Policy welcomes Pultizer Prize-winning former New York Times reporter Hedrick Smith.  Smith will discuss his 2012 book “Who Stole the American Dream?”  The book details how two “Americas” have been created as a result of the imbalance in wealth that has occurred since the 1970s. WJCT 3×5 Classic Film Festival – The Brumos Companies present WJCT’s 3×5 Classic Film Festival featuring three days of the best films in American cinematic history.  In keeping with WJCT’s mission, the festival encourages appreciation and understanding of the art of cinema. The festival begins at 7 p.m. on Friday with an opening reception featuring piano jazz performed by John Thomas and a showing of the classic film Citizen Kane.
