After the [[Yuuzhan Vong War]] ended in 29 ABY after four years of brutal fighting, Finn disappeared to [[Artorias]] where he'll spend the next five years now the new king of the planet. He received endless visits from [[Luke Skywalker]] and the Skywalker family as well as the Solo family and other friends before he re-emerged to the public eye in 34 ABY now married to a woman named, Isabelle. Shortly after his re-emerge, Finn was promoted to Jedi Knight and for years, before taking a [[Force-sensitive]] trainee named J'Androu as his Padawan upon promotion to Jedi Master in 39 ABY, he went on numerous single missions which was to contribute to keeping peace among the galaxy and defend the [[New Republic]] from any threats it may have sensed.

Finn had been promoted to Jedi Master in 39 ABY at the age of 33 and shortly afterwards took a Force-sensitive [[Kel Dor]] named J'Androu as his first Padawan whom would become one of many apprentices Finn would train and model themselves after them. One year into the master and apprenticeship between the two, they were assigned to protect the President of Genosis which went successful and easily and soon to the Battle of Hadlress which turned out to be a brutal two hour battle which was an invasion led by a pirate and his league of 700 fellow pirates that for some unclear reason wanted revenge over the for decades peaceful planet. That pirate just happened to be a former Jedi devoted his life as a pirate and criminal and right when he and J'Androu reached the ends where he was waiting, Finn and the fallen Jedi engaged in an intense lightsaber duel while J'Androu dueled with his son who looked about two years his age. The duels between the four went on for a while; it went on until a few more Jedi entered the area and began splitting in groups to surround the fallen Jedi and his son and force them to surrender. They were getting ready to give in, but a hundred more pirates entered the area which increased the time of the battle and Finn and J'Androu's duel with the main father-son leaders. With more and more Jedi coming in, and realizing that he and his son cannot last any longer with the skilled master and apprentice, the fallen Jedi yelled for the pirate league to retreat which they did not hesitate to do.

As for the pirate's son he stayed to duel with J'Androu a little longer, feeling he had something to prove to his father and that he can beat the young skilled duelist. However, this only led to him being captured and with his father feeling high anger at the Jedi and not only Finn, on that day he swore to hunt down and someday kill Finn believing he and his apprentice were trying to separate his family. It took weeks after the Battle of Hadlress for Finn and fellow other Jedi Masters to convince the young man to turn to the light and accept the fact that his father had confusingly become lost in the dark side of [[The Force]]. When they did, Finn began to train him part time with him mostly being in the hands of [[Luke Skywalker]] as they both worked together to give him lightsaber training as well as to J'Androu with he and the other young one engaging in a very noticeable amateur duel the whole time as the Battle of Hadlress would be the first Finn actually saw J'Androu actually put his lightsaber to use.
