Description of Position: We are building up our team and are seeking an experienced Developer / Programmer to join our organization to build up our online platform and manage the day-to-day operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of Singapore’s up and coming Startups and take on a leadership role to shape the business. Responsibilities:
Web application design, development and maintenance.
Go to person for industry leading trends for UI/UX, features and functionalities.
Designing, prototyping, testing and documenting web applications based on system specifications and requirements.
Delivering results/milestones on-time with high level of quality and internal customer satisfaction.
Providing technical support for web applications.
Contribute to functional requirements and translate them into technical design and development projects.
Support Finance department to provide timely and accurate data as requested.
Manage external vendors including SEO and developer firms which may be hired from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum diploma holders or above in IT or Software Engineering
Minimum 5 years experiences in PHP programming
Minimum 2 years experiences in project development management
Proficiency in PHP and MySQL is a must
Proficiency in Cake PHP framework is a must
Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS & Ajax is a must
Experience in building mobile application is a plus
Experience in building white label site is a plus
Familiar in open source technologies, such as Word Press, Drupal, etc. is a plus
Knowledge and experience in SEO and Internet marketing is a plus.
Must be self-motivated and results-oriented team player with initiative and drive. We are a small growing team and require a ‘hungry / can do’ Startup mindset and attitude.
Experience in the IT / Internet / Ecommerce/ Finance industry(s) will be highly advantageous.
Experience in a seed / early stage startup company will be highly advantageous.
Must be proficient in MS Office applications and ability to navigate generic accounting software effectively.
Ability to effectively resolve issues, good organizational and analytical ability.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
Able to start immediately or short notice is a plus
