Description
The Media Operations Strategist/Manager is responsible for managing strategic accounts whereby a large part of the portfolio will be Thailand-based advertisers and agencies. Hence, having Thailand market domain knowledge and fluency in the native language, Thai, is a must.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated, well-organized and hands-on individual with prior client management experience in both online media (CPM, CPC and CPA) and SEM campaigns. Additionally, the candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a customer-oriented attitude and project management experience in order to provide our strategic clients with the highest service level of excellence.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the Sales team to evaluate client needs with regards to their advertising objectives and goals, and to coordinate successful delivery of campaigns
Implement RTB media buys (CPM, CPC, CPA) while maintaining budget control throughout entire process
Monitor and manage performance of RTB campaigns and perform optimization on a daily basis, and where necessary
Be highly organized and effectively manage all the details associated with media campaigns including:
-Organize and schedule “kick off” meetings at the start of each new online media campaign.
-Follow up on all client deliverables, action items and ‘next steps’ and make sure these are being delivered on time.
-Get creative assets for media campaigns from clients and traffic these to the Media Team person assigned to manage that client.
-Coordinate with client on getting client site and landing pages identified for tracking, and then make sure the tracking code is put in place by the client (involves delivery of code to client and follow-up to make sure code has been inserted on web pages)
Be accountable for making profitable media buys and completing assignments within budget and deadlines
Providing post launch analysis and recommendations for future campaigns
For Manager-level candidates: Recommending operational processes and implementing them, leading the team of media operations specialists and media buyers and, liaising with the senior management team
Requirements
At least 5 years working experience
Must have both written and verbal skills for Thai language
Position is based in Singapore office and must be willing to travel as required to Thailand on a regular basis
BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent substantial work experience strongly preferred
In depth knowledge of SEM (Google AdWords / AdSense), web analytics and best practices for SEM required
Candidates with experience in Online Media Planning / Buying in the Performance Display Advertising space will have a distinct advantage
Meticulous with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in numbers
Consultative, with strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Ability to diagnose campaign issues, create solutions, to communicate and recommend those solutions to others in an easy-to-understand format
Excellent time management with ability to manage multiple projects across several client engagements while meeting deadlines
Proven ability to take the initiative and drive projects in a proactive manner
Ability to manage expectations with a patient and friendly demeanor, regardless of circumstance. Able to work well under pressure and deliver exceptional results.
Media agency experience is a plus
Basic accounting and invoicing knowledge is a plus.
For Manager-level candidates, a successful track record of 3+ years of management experience is required
