This position will take the lead role in product development and work alongside the CEO to build a BigData travel platform .
Job description
–Write exceptional code using C#, JavaScript, and SQL at a minimum, with aptitude to develop in other languages
- Lead all aspects of technology & product development in line with the companies strategic direction
- Lead the strategy for technology platforms & partnerships
- Build & manage the technology team & any outsourced contractors
- Create & deliver the technology & product roadmap to deliver a high quality user experience
- Create and foster an environment conducive to innovation, high productivity,
and high quality.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of online web experience, preferably managing a travel-related website
- Experience managing and coaching development teams
- Experience in building and managing databases
- Experience in E-commerce is a must
- Extremely strong preference for experience in the Travel Industry
- Experience working with a Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travel Port
