Are You The One?
We are looking for an experienced CSS Front End Web Designer who is responsible for the design, layout and coding for our website to improve the users’ experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Create wireframes/prototypes to evaluate ideas and identify shortcomings and opportunities
Create website structure planning, design and layout
Help and be able to lead new feature developments for the platform.
Collaborate with designer and engineers to ensure a seamless user experience from design to implementation.
Conceptualize new ideas and features and rapidly iterate through design layouts and prototypes.
Communicate and present ideas to the business unit and incorporate improvements.
Carry out periodic code refactoring and performance improvements.
Track application speed and performance.
A/B testing requirements
Push boundaries of innovative interactions across our applications.
Requirements:
At least three years of working experience
Expert in HTML, CSS and LESS
Familiar with the concept of OOCSS
Experience designing for multi-lingual platforms
Fluent in jQuery and native JavaScript (Fluency in JavaScript is not the same as jQuery)
Mobile first design approach is a must (Bootstrap and Foundation does not count)
Understanding of RESS
Comfortable working with version control (experience using Git and Github is a big plus)
Experience in website structure planning, design and layout
Familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator
Practical experience of creating user centric design (designing for empty states, perceived application performance etc.).
Be able to articulate clear user interaction flow through detailed site maps, wireframe schematics and related documentation
