Cyrus Innovations works with its system integration partners to serve customers from a diverse marketplace that includes SMEs, MNC, government agencies and institutions. Cyrus is also in the process of building a global presence and already has partner representatives in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Brunei, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.

We have several challenging positions straddling the state of the art, working with academia, while working on real world problems for industry deployment. You might be a coder interested in code optimization, working on systems level issues or architecture. Or you might instead be more interested in the theoretical issues related to computer vision, machine learning and its application to the industry, trying to come up with more efficient inference / optimization algorithms. We are flexible and able to accomodate different roles.

There are a spectrum of problems to work on, ranging from software engineering issues such as architecture, scaling, user interface design to working directly on the computer vision and machine learning algorithms. Additionally, we are collaborating with academic researchers and are open to publication or generating patents. The ideal candidate possess strong practical skills while being able to work in the domain of highly scientific / technical domains of computer vision and machine learning. We are one of the very few places investing serious time and effort to work on the technicalities of computer vision and machine learning to be  directly applied to the industry.

Basic requirements:

At least a Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related disciplines (as long as there is some programming and some mathematical components)

Development experience with C++ / Java / Python

Data structures and algorithms

Comfort with development and debugging under Windows

Good problem solving skills, with desire for quality and engineering excellence

Ability to communicate clearly with peers

Additional good to have skills

Having participated in open source projects or worked with large code bases

Server side architectures and scripting languages

Relevant experience and knowledge of Computer Vision / Machine Learning / Optimization / Statistical Inference and its practical implementation is highly advantageous

Experience with real time computer vision systems

Ability to cope with some mathematics for the more scientific roles (e.g. probability, linear algebra, optimization)

Experience implementing numerical algorithms

Naturally curious, with strong interests/passion in various domains such as technology, engineering and computer science
