The intelligent transportation startup was founded in Brazil by a group of entrepreneurs passionate about sharing economy. As of September 2014, we're already operating in 11 countries across Latin America and Asia + USA.

We’re proud to be part of Rocket Internet, the world’s largest internet incubator, in charge of other successful companies like Lazada, Zalora, Easy Taxi, Lamudi, Carmudi, FoodPanda, etc. As well, the group is backed by top-level investors such as PLDT and United Internet.

After establishing itself in 10 countries, Tripda is just starting it's operations in the Philippines and we're hiring top performers for the most exciting and challenging positions: the first ones!

We have two positions open for Entrepreneurs in Residence to head our operations team. You'll be working along our global team of leaders and constantly sharing best practices with other Entrepreneurs in Residence across the globe. Therefore, is crucial that you're able to measure your projects through comprehensive and intelligent KPIs, on top of those we'll establish aggressive, but well planned, targets.

Business Development on University Operations

Challenge

Worldwide, one of Tripda's main addressable markets are university students and recent graduates, who are willing to travel around or visit family and friends in a convenient, reliable and economic way. Unfortunately, most of them had either to rely on unstable bus companies or drive a car alone. Tripda is here to disrupt that market connecting those people.

Job description

We are looking for a talented and vibrant professional to build the operational and offline marketing strategy of Tripda in universities and college campi across Luzon, hiring and leading a team of 10-15 Student Brand Managers. Leadership skills, results orientation and focus on execution are essential capabilities for this position.

You'll be responsible for developing a operational and market plan alongside with senior executives, but most importantly, executing and controlling the overall strategy across university channels all over Luzon, leading a team of 10-15 brand managers students, working along and reporting to the Philippines Country manager and providing expertise to our global operation. Building relationships and striking partnerships with student organizations, community, affiliates and other potential partners are also an important part of your job. Besides, you are driving the creation of marketing materials and creative in brand image and messages. You will work closely with the local and global management and offline counterparts to create integrated marketing plans. Managing the offline marketing budgets to grow user base and increase their recurrence with demonstrated metrics belong to your field of responsibility.

Business Development on Supply Building

Challenge

Tripda's goal is achieved by matching drivers and passengers driving from and to similar places at the same date and time. To build that marketplace, we have a special care for drivers, since they're the most sensible part of our marketplace. At the very beginning we need to find creative ways to attract drivers to our platform while securing demand for their rides to ensure their positive experience.

Job description

We're looking for an analytical mind that can deal with big chunks of data to define Philippines' best routes for Tripda and develop a strategy to secure liquidity in them. We also expect that your commercial and driven personality excels at maintaining positive relationship with our current drivers and reaching potential new ones through a series of marketing strategies you'll define.

That include building out partnerships which align with Tripda's strategy and mission (e.g., partnerships with national gas stations, hotels and restaurant chains, other travel sector apps, HR departments, etc.), relationship programs with our customers and engaging and measurable promos, supported by a aggressive growth-oriented budget. In a short term, you'll be required to hire, train and manage your relationship team.

Solid track record of achievements at past jobs.
