Responsibilities
Main responsibility will be developing eCommerce applications using Magento, Shopify and/or other platforms.
Development of responsive websites and applications using the framework and technologies of PHP, HTML5, Laravel, Wordpress, jQuery, JS, Angular JS, AJAX, CSS, when required
Support and maintenance of existing ecommerce sites.
AWS, Softlayer administration including performance tuning.
Necessary skill set includes:
Degree/Diploma in anything and can demonstrate your skill.
2 ~ 5 years’ or above experiences in web application development and maintenance
Good knowledge of using Zend Framework or similar MVC framework.
Familiar with Scrum project management methodology
Experience working with APIs and code versioning (SVN,git, mercurial)
Magento Certified Developer and/or working with Magento 2 and Enterprise version are a definite plus
Frontend development experience is a definite advantage
Knowledge of other framework/language such as Java, Python, Angular JS, etc is advantageous
Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium or others is a plus
Writing detailed technical specs and documentation
Project Planning / Solution / Testing
Excellent understanding of browser capabilities, responsive and issues
Clean, well commented code.
SEO awareness.
Understand Agile methodology and instill best practices into the process.

The candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency across all coding techniques and web technologies and have a first class knowledge of industry trends, technology trends and best practices
The candidate will become an expert in the Agency’s chosen technical platform: Magento (eCommmerce)
