Upon looking through eBay last night for some Rogue One figures, I spotted our first look at Darth Vader from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Yes I already know that we have seen his action figure, Pop, and artwork, but this is the actual on screen Vader. This is the life size Vader standee from Advance Graphics.
So first off, he doesn’t have the tunic pulled over the armor like from A New Hope and Star Wars Rebels. However, the Hasbro Rogue One Vader does have the tunic over the armor, which makes me think we are going to see Vader with both looks in the film. Now why that would be I have no idea, but it seems to be going in that direction. In this image he also doesn’t seem to have much of a red tint on his eyes, but perhaps from certain angles he might. Regardless, we are going to get to see Vader on the big screen again in less than two months. Stay tuned for more Rogue One: A Star Wars news later today!
