Welcome to a very special week here at Stamp TV!! Many of us are touched in some way by cancer and we all want to find ways to make a difference. Hopefully you've all had a chance to see the new Fight Like A Girl stamp set and paper pack. A donation to the American Cancer Society is made with every purchase. We will have a new challenge each day for the next week to kick off the month of October as breast cancer awareness month. And supporting those who are currently fighting or have fought in any way is what the awareness is all about! Sometimes just a little encouragement or smile can make a huge difference. So if you can, send your card along to someone who could use a lift!
Sadly...there are so, soooo many types of cancer, so many colors of awareness ribbons. This challenge is to make a card using colors OTHER THAN pink to bring awareness to and honor those affected by cancer other than breast cancer. Here is a website with some information on awareness ribbon colors:

I incorporated a variety of colors to give the basic idea of how many types of cancer and how many of us are affected by it. You can make a card using a color or colors that are personally meaningful to you...or you can make a card with someone else in mind who's struggling with something and could use a smile. The only challenge is this....you may NOT use any pink.....not at all! Now come on...if I can do this then you all certainly can!!! LOL I used Pure Luxury White cardstock and several of our GKD Color Coordinations inks, Red Hot, Blue Denim, Fresh Asparagus, Ocean Mist, Wild Lilack, Black Onyx.
Now....this has been SUCH an amazing week....we are so moved at how many of you have experienced struggles and losses and triumphs dealing with cancer. With enough awareness and work....we can only hope that we can see more and more progress to wiping out this awful disease entirely! Thank you to each one of you!!
