With the holidays just around the corner, the time to create beautiful holiday cards, tags, and home decor is running out. Thankfully Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Linda<br>
Yamamoto and Sylvie Drader have come to the rescue with some fabulous ideas using<br>
the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132806&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132806&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Stamp-a-tag Kit</a>.<br> <br>
Linda is from Burlington, Ontario and has been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since April 2002! Here’s what Linda said about her projects:<br> <a href="[images]a82b44ab-f47b-4780-b276-cf04a72736b6" src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/1-tag-tree---linda-yamamoto.jpg?sfvrsn=0"><img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/1-tag-tree---linda-yamamoto.jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="1 Tag Tree - Linda Yamamoto" width="500"></a><br> <br>
“I had fun creating this fir tree. The textured tags are held in place with <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=121003&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=121003&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Glimmer Brads</a><br>
and I spritzed the tree with <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=118772&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=118772&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz</a>. Then I created a fancy<br>
“star” for the top of the tree with the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132622&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132622&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Gold Foil Sheets</a> and the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=125594&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=125594&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Rosette Die</a>. I’m not sure if you can see it in the photo, but trust me, this tree is very shimmery in real life and would make a beautiful centerpiece for your Christmas table!”<br> <br> <a href="[images|OpenAccessDataProvider]f1454e68-9b1f-4d90-9153-f80788bc2778" src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/2-tags--linda-yamamoto(2).jpg?sfvrsn=0"><img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/2-tags--linda-yamamoto(2).jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="2 Tags -Linda Yamamoto(2)" width="500"></a><br> <br>
“For the most part, I tried to use all items that came with the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132806&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132806&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Stamp-a-tag Kit</a> to create<br>
these. The green ribbon I used on the left tag to make the tree is actually part of the<br>
packaging in the kit - I really didn’t let anything go to waste! <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=123125&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=123125&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Cherry Cobbler Baker’s<br>
Twine</a> formed into a circle looks like candy (especially if you coat it with <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=101055&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=101055&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Crystal Effects</a>)<br>
and Old Olive Baker’s Twine threaded through pierced holes creates a tree outline. I<br>
created an ombre effect on two of the tags and the plaid effect on the other is done<br>
using the ink spots directly onto the tag in a grid pattern. I love the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132341&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132341&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Winter Frost<br>
Designer Series Paper</a> and couldn’t resist using it to create a folded tree (from a<br>
punched circle). Tags like these are sure to let the recipient know that something good<br>
is inside the wrapping!!”<br> <br> <img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/4-tag-card---linda-yamamoto.jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="4 Tag card - Linda Yamamoto" width="500"><br> <br>
“Once the gifting is over, the thanking begins…and this card is great for someone to<br>
whom you want to give LOTS of thanks. I rolled up a length of the Birch Paper Ribbon<br>
(found in the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133463&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133463&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Thankful Tablescape Kit</a>) to create a “dowel” to hang the various tags in a<br>
rainbow of colors. I adhered the dowel with <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=104294&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=104294&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Sticky Strip</a> so it would stay securely in<br>
place on the card, but left the tags hanging freely for some fun movement.”<br> <br> <img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/cards---linda-yamamoto.jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="cards - Linda Yamamoto" width="500"><br> <br>
“These are fun and easy last minute holiday cards using the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132340&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132340&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Season of Style Designer<br>
Series Paper</a> which coordinates with the colors in the Stamp-a-Tag Kit. I made a<br>
Happy Christmas card with a custom envelope that I made from a simple rectangle of<br>
Designer Series Paper folded in thirds. The little envelope in front was created with<br> <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133774&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133774&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Envelope Punch Board</a> and the image colored using a <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=102845&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=102845&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Blender Pen</a> to pick up the ink<br>
from the Stampin’ Spots in the Stamp-a-tag Kit.”<br> <br>
Wow! Those were some outstanding projects Linda!<br> <br>
Next up, let’s check out the creative talents of Sylvie Drader. Sylvie is from Kitchener,<br>
Ontario and has been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 6 years.<br> <br> <img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/9-chocolate-bag-gift-tags---sylvie-drader.jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="9 chocolate bag gift tags - Sylvie Drader" width="500"><br> <br>
“A small bag of chocolate becomes really special with a hand stamped tag. It tells the<br>
person you care. I love to give these to co-workers and neighbors around Christmas.<br>
The stamps and ink are included in the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132806&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132806&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Stamp-a-tag Kit</a>, making it SO easy.”<br> <br> <img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/11-sesason's-greetings-card---sylvie-drader.jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="11 Sesason's greetings card - Sylvie Drader" width="500"><br> <br>
“Using tags on cards is quite trendy – and why not, it certainly adds interest to this<br>
simple Christmas card.”<br> <br> <img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/12-rhinestones-tag---sylvie-drader.jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="12 Rhinestones Tag - Sylvie Drader" width="500"><br> <br>
“Christmas decorations, why not use them on a tag! The <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=126882&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=126882&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Merry Minis Punch Pack</a><br>
makes this tag an easy project. The Stamp-a-tag Kit box can also be used as a gift<br>
box… love up-cycling.”<br> <br> <img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/10-wreath-box---sylvie-drader.jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="10 Wreath box - Sylvie Drader" width="500"><br> <br>
“A wreath is fun to make even on a small scale. This tag is more involved but still comes together pretty quickly because the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=126882&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas" src="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=126882&utm_source=stampin-up-blog&utm_medium=blog&utm_content=last-minute-christmas-ideas">Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack</a> makes it a breeze. Whoever receives this gift will feel very special.”<br> <br> <img src="http://stampinup.com/home/images/default-source/corporate-blog-posts/gift-boxes-tags---sylvie-drader.jpg?sfvrsn=0" title="Gift boxes Tags - Sylvie Drader" width="500"><br> <br>
“You absolutely need bling at Christmas! And when it’s added to a hand stamped tag, it<br>
really makes it pop. Even before it is opened, the gift feels unique.”<br> <br>
Thanks to both of our demonstrators for sharing their talents with us!
