Good morning stampers, my share today is the Stampin Up Celebrate Today – Weekly Deals and a Personal Message.

You may have noticed that I haven’t posted as much lately – Let me explain why.
Our parents are up in Canada and while they are doing well, we know as we age, so do they. We don’t get to visit them as often as we would like and just before Christmas last, it was discovered that Ian’s father has a health issue. We decided to put the wheels in motion to move back to Canada and spend more time with them.
Christmas eve Ian accepted a job in Prince Albert Saskatchewan and we were able to phone both sets of parents on Christmas morning and share the news that we were coming home, it was a great gift for all of us.
New Year’s Eve I received a call from Stampin’ Up! Compliance department letting me know that I qualified to maintain my Demonstratorship here in the U.S. and that I was also permitted to open one up in Canada. I had been working with them on this for a few weeks and had been concerned because of my amazing team, customers and friends here. Can I just say, that Stampin’ Up! is totally amazing and they were so helpful through all this – I work for the Best Company ever – and now you know why I didn’t attend Leadership this past weekend – I’m packing, LOL…
So – what does that mean?…..well, we are moving in March, so, there may be a few quiet days on my blog, but other than a new e-mail addess sandimaciver@gmail.com and a new phone number that I will post when we get up there – nothing will change. I will still post and share, our team has an awesome facebook group where we get together every day and life will go on as normal. I will be back and forth regularly attending team events, Stampin Up Convention etc. (and to warm up at the beach)….haha….
For Canada, I am working on setting up a new blog right now and as soon as we settle into our new home, I’ll have it up and running and we will have “Stampin with Sandi.ca Eh! – for all my Canadian friends and customers. I will also be sharing projects from that blog so just subscribe to both and you won’t miss any new projects and for my Canadian friends, you will now be able to collect Corgi Rewards and get in on Shares – Yeah!…(I’ll let you know here when it’s live).
And here is some fun!
Check out my new stamping space. We bought a home up there, Prince Albert Sask is kind of North (my Canadian friends will laugh at that comment) – so having a studio in a garage is just not an option, LOL….I get this beautiful basement space to turn into my studio….. I can’t wait to share that with you (after the kitchen is unpacked of course)….my office computer and video computer set up will be in a different room – so this will be “all stamping baby”….and I’m looking forward to sharing my love of Stampin’ Up! and stamping in new classes I will be hosting in this awesome space – check out the windows….yeah!…
So there you go – the news. My parents live in B.C. Ian’s parents live in Ontario, so Sask is smack in the middle, easy for us to visit both. We have been having fun reconnecting with friends up there and snow!….haha. yep, I had to dig out my snow boots for the house buying trip – but what I discovered – was I actually missed walking in the snow!…I’m not sure what Oscar and Lucy are going to think of that much snow, but they are happy just to be with us, so I’m sure they will be fine…momma will have to make them walking trails, haha…..

My card for today is created with the Celebrate Today Stamp Set –
The sketch I used is from Cas(e) this sketch #108
and, if you check out page 11 of the Occasions catalog, this stamp set is available in Photopolymer, it has a coordinating Balloon Framelits set, and there is a Bundle #137362 to save you 15%.
TIPS and TRICKS:
to keep true to the sketch, I incorporated the Birthday Bash Designer Paper in my background for the stripes.
my color choices came from the Designer Paper so it would all coordinate – Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral
I Die cut the balloon so I could pop it up on Dimensionals and I used the Bitty Banners Framelits for my sentiment.
The balloon string and bow are White Baker’s Twine.
