Hi Stampers, today share uses the Stampin Up Blended Bloom for Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge #58.  Yes, I used that stamp again, LOL…it’s just too much fun to color…and was the perfect size for this week’s sketch too, LOL….I promise, I did buy more than one stamp and I’ll start playing with other new stuff very soon!…

And we have very exciting news to share with you today, so read all the way down ok?

To celebrate the launch of our new catalog this week, I used an array of new products, the Blended Bloom Stamp (available in wood only)Moonlight Designer paper stack for my background, the New In-colors Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey for the card stock as well as the ribbon on both cards!…

The new Moonlight Designer Paper Stack (page 185), has some great designs in it.  I used the grid design for my background and then I used the WORK OF ART stamp set to add some “background noise” as I like to call it.  The dotted piece where the sentiment is, is another piece from the same stack, and with the colors Basic Gray, Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand and Whisper White, I know we are going to have a lot of fun with this stack, especially with 48 sheets in it.

I have a “BLENDABILITY TIP” for you….I wanted a brighter green for the center of my flower, so I was experimenting.  If you color it the light Daffodil Delight first, and the put the light Coastal Cabana over it, you get this great bright green!….and yes, I  promise to do a video on my blending technique, I just have to get my class finished first.  White dots are made with the gel pen!

My second card is kind of funny…one of the gifts on the Stampin UP Cruise, was a new Framelit!.

It’s called – can you guess?  ha-ha…

Mustache – and I have been looking at it, wondering what to do with it, LOL…I guess I missed the craze!…sniffing my new “blendies”, who knows…anyway, I was determined to use it today…so here is my second card!…

A cute little father’s day card…..(have you seen the movie The Lorax?  Reminds me of his mustache), LOL…Anyway, more of that lovely designer paper from the Moonlight Paper Stack too….sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Here is the sketch for this week…yes I got a little wild with the designer paper – they have some lovely designs in MDS (My Digital Studio) LOL  So, hop on over to the Design Team Member Bogs to check out what they did with the sketch this week, you can also find them on our Stamping and Blogging Facebook page - (please like us over there).

HERE IS THE EXCITING NEWS PART – and you may have noticed that the Design Team Member list got a little longer this week!…We are very excited to announce our newest member, my new friend, Claire Daly has agreed to join us!  All the way from Melbourne, Australia….whoot whoot!…

Claire has been a demonstrator since 2007, within the first year Stampin’ Up! was operational in Australia.  Claire had been a scrapbooker for about 5 years prior to that and had begun to use stamping in her scrapbooking.  She fell in love with the Stampin’ Up! products and joined to get a discount on using these products on her pages.  Soon after she fell in love with card making too and now shares her card making and scrapbooking projects with the world on her Art With Heart Blog.  She also mentors a large team of Australian demonstrators in the Heart with Heart Team.  Claire likes to try all styles and experiments with techniques but if she had to name her stamping style, it would probably be “fresh Vintage” echoing her love of texture and layering.  Claire also loves color and some of her favorite Stampin’ Up! colors are Early Espresso, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry.

Claire says she is super excited to be joining the worldwide Stamping and Blogging Challenge Team – and we say – Not as excited as we are to have her – Welcome Claire – and don’t forget to subscribe to her blog, you don’t want to miss any of her posts.

That’s it for my post today, we hope you will enjoy all the creativity these ladies work hard to share with you each week, and don’t forget to leave them some kind comments for doing so.
