Guest post by Sandra Long, founder, Post Road Consulting

I am thrilled to be teaching the “LinkedIn Personal Power Series” at the Stamford Innovation Center.

Last year, we offered a comprehensive set of individual LinkedIn workshops at the Innovation Center, but they were all separate programs.  Working with Education Director Lesley Stroll, we designed an innovative series for the serious LinkedIn student networker! We are adding more class and “hands-on” time for the advanced networking and thought leadership concepts, and linking it all together.

What’s new about our program?

We’ll be diving even deeper into public content creation and sharing; private messaging; prospecting; Groups, Companies, Universities; advanced navigation techniques; advanced connecting strategies; best smart phone apps; and using LinkedIn to further your own strategic goals. We will also be using all the newest LinkedIn profile features to make sure that our workshop students look great online!

The real magic is that we are offering real “hands-on” experience, which will be a very large part of this program. The workshop participants will be navigating LinkedIn on their own starting the very first night.

I feel very fortunate to be a LinkedIn speaker and instructor.

Here’s why: I help business people, CEO’s, consultants, attorneys, industry experts, writers and job seekers to enhance their digital presence; express their personal brand, network, and grow their business or career opportunities. In the process, I am building my own network and learning every day.

Join with us for three consecutive Wednesdays beginning on March 4 at 6:30 PM.

Attendees should bring their own laptop, and a resume, bio or a list of relevant work history.  Regardless of your level of experience with LinkedIn, you will benefit from this comprehensive, thought provoking series. See you on March 4th!
