The dog days of summer haven’t curbed the heat coming off the Philadelphia restaurant scene and the advent of fall won’t cool things down either.

The forecast for restaurant openings in Philadelphia brings a veritable heat wave of excellent options for brand-new local eats in all neighborhoods and at all price points.

Recent weeks have seen the debuts of brand-new kitchens from stars of the city's dining scene like chef Marc Vetri, chef Jeremy Nolan and Nicole Marquis, and the coming weeks will bring hotly anticipated restaurant openings from talent like Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran, Konstantinos Pitsillades, Joncarl Lochman and Scott Schroeder.

Here's what's cooking in Philly this fall.
