Happy Weekend, Philadelphia!
If you haven’t heard: Center City Restaurant Week was due to wrap up today, January 30, but the promotion has been extended this winter and will now continue February 2 through 4. If you don’t have plans to dine out tonight, make your reservations for next week!
Starting on Saturday, the Philadelphia Auto Show races into town for a week of impressive cars, test drives and more. The annual event hits the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and is slated to feature everything from classic cars to yet-to-be released models.
On Sunday, free museum admission (or discounted admission!) takes the spotlight: The Barnes Foundation swings open its doors for free, the National Museum of American Jewish History starts its month-long free admission offer and the Philadelphia Museum of Art celebrates the first Sunday of the month with pay-what-you-wish admission.
And of course this weekend brings Super Bowl Sunday. With the awesome selection of take-out options at some of Philly’s best restaurants — like the Korean fried chicken wings at Serpico, smoked brisket at Percy Street Barbecue and a hoagie tray to end all hoagie trays from Di Bruno Bros — Philadelphia’s going to win the Super Bowl of food.
Read on for our guide to this weekend.
