Have you ever been at a bar, taken a sip of your fermented beverage and thought to yourself, “I wish I could make this at home”? Well, there’s no better time and place to learn than this winter at the shop that has been called “Disneyland for beer and wine freaks”.
Over the coming months, local homebrew haven Keystone Homebrew Supply has a slate of classes lined up to appeal to a variety of experience levels, whether you’re a brewing novice or you’ve got your own beer stockpiled in your garage.
Experts will welcome students to alcohol-fueled classes like “Intro to Brewing”, “Making Great Wine from Kits” and “All Grain Brewing”. Each session includes live demos, Q&A sessions with experts and — of course! — delicious samples.
Prices range from $40 to $75 per person, and most classes are offered at both of Keystone’s Philly-area stores. Check online for dates, times and details.
