In conjunction with its Philadelphia Voices exhibit about hipster haven Northern Liberties, the Philadelphia History Museum presents a multimedia program on Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m.

During Conversations: Northern Liberties in Words and Film, the museum will host readings about the reinvented neighborhood by speakers including Northern Liberties Neighbors Association president Matt Ruben and notable local author Nathaniel Popkin.

The Philly-tastic event also includes a screening of the 30-minute film Northern Liberties: Destitute Urban Carnival Reborn!, which explores the transformation of NoLibs from postwar industrial district to headquarters for Philly’s most creative minds.

Tickets to the program cost $10, which includes admission to the museum. Register online today.
