Julia “Judy” A. Senger of North Webster, Ind., passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2013.
She was born in Daleville, Ind., to Harold Anderson and Helen Anderson Watts. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1957 and attended Ball State University.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church for many years and in 2009 she transferred to North Webster United Methodist Church. She was a member of the United Methodist Women at both churches and recently a member of a book club and Red Hats Society.
She will be remembered for her love and care for family and friends as well as her love of nature and animals.
She is survived by her husband: Dewey D. Senger; children: Shari (Rich) Roy, LaGrange, Ind.; Sherman “Scott” (Amanda) Senger, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Steven Senger, South Whitley, Ind.; grandchildren: Kyle Roy (Ashley Gretencord), Chicago, Ill.; Ryan Roy (Becky Summers), Fort Wayne, Ind.; Sydney Senger and Shelby Senger, both of Fort Wayne; Charlotte Senger and Garrett Senger, both of South Whitley, Ind.; brother-in-law: James Clevenger, Holland, Mich.; sister-in-law: Evelyn Martin, Merrillville, Ind.; special cousin: Richard Benn, Bradenton, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister: Marcia J. Clevenger.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, at McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Forest Park UMC, 2100 Kentucky Ave., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Brenda Ginder and Pastor Dave Smitley officiating. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens cemetery, Fort Wayne.
