Grace College and Seminary and CE National have partnered to host Super Wednesdays, a quarterly event designed for the enrichment and encouragement of pastors, church leadership staff, those considering ministry, or those interested in the local church and its people. Offering five hours of information, fellowship and counsel from speakers considered experts in their field, the events are held at CE National’s Russell Center in Winona Lake, Indiana.

“Super Wednesdays are helpful for the local pastors because it gives them a chance to tune up their skills, learn new things and refresh their ministry,” said Rock LaGioia, associate professor of pastoral studies at Grace and one of the event coordinators. “Grace and CE National are very interested in not just training future leaders, but in helping current leaders.”

Upcoming events include an appearance on Sept. 18 by Pastor Ed Short, senior ministry consultant at CE National and former pastor, who will be addressing the topic “Growing Your Church: A Simple Ministry Process.” On Nov. 5, Dr. Kevin Zuber, professor of theology at Moody Bible Institute, will be addressing the topic “What Pastor’s Need to Know about Postmodernism.”

The event costs $29 per person and includes a fellowship lunch. The programs start at 10 a.m. (sign-in begins at 9:15) and conclude by 3 p.m. Email Lois at cenational@cenational.org or call 574-267-6622 for more information or visit http://superwednesdays.net/.
