Former Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf has gone on to state that Sachin Tendulkar is a much better batsman as compared to Virat Kohli.

Shane Watson, a prominent part of the Australian side in the 2013 tour of the subcontinent believes that the upcoming tour of India would certainly not be as bad as it once was.
Watson was a part of the side that toured India in 2013 and was simply thrashed out of sight following a 4-0 whitewash as well. Speaking after the selection of the side, it was clear that Watson only has wanted to motivate this side stating that the tour cannot be as bad.

This comes a day or two before the second ODI between India and England to be played in Cuttack.
Previously, reports from Mr. Asirbad Behra, the former secretary of the Odisha Cricket Association had gone on to state that the players had been scheduled to arrive in Cuttack a day before the match due to the unavailability of the rooms.

Legends Club “Hall of Fame’ inducts former India skipper Kapil Dev
Former India skipper Kapil Dev has been added to the list of Legends’ Club Hall of Fame in the presence of a few former Indian cricketers including his teammate and the former skipper himself Sunil Gavaskar.
Kapil led the Indian side to victory in the 1983 edition of the World Cup has been considered by several to be the best all-rounder to be produced by India in recent times.
He was offered a citation by Madhav Apte, one of the oldest living players in presence of former India captains Ajit Wadekar, Sunil Gavaskar and Nari Contractor at the Cricket Club of India here.

Bat-smith Mahesh Ranasube helped India and England players ahead of the 1st ODI
When in Pune, do it like the Punekars. The India and England teams were in the city for the 1st ODI of the series and the local boy Kedar Jadhav didn’t just assist the Men in Blue on their way to a record chase he also helped players from both the teams in getting their bats fixed.
When the teams arrived Jadhav took his bat for repair to bat-smith, Mahesh Ranasube a 25-year-old city boy who has turned his passion into profession and his shop Ubhe sports is the only store in the city that repairs bats.
Jadhav the Pune-lad has been taking help from Ranasube from the last couple of years.

Former Australian skipper Kim Hughes feels that the current Indian side led by Virat Kohli is a more balanced and stronger unit, the team has seen in the past.
He said that Virat has been leading the side exceptionally well in the recent times which would pose a huge challenge for the Steve Smith led Australia once they visit India for a four-match Test series which begins on February 23 in Pune.
