August 26, 2013 – Hunt Valley, MD – G. Paul Bozuwa, President and Chief Operating Officer of Sheridan’s Dartmouth Printing Company and Patricia A. Stricker, President and Chief Operating Officer of Sheridan’s The Sheridan Press are to be inducted into the National Association for Printing Leadership’s (NAPL) Soderstrom Society.

The Soderstrom Society, named for one of the founders of NAPL, the late Walter E. Soderstrom, is an honors organization that recognizes the contributions of industry leaders, including printing company owners, equipment manufacturers, educators, journalists, and consultants.

“It’s an honor to have not one, but two of our business leaders recognized for their commitment to the printing industry,”  said The Sheridan Group’s Chief Executive Officer and Soderstrom Award winner, John A. Saxton.

“Both Paul and Pat strive to positively impact their company, employees, customers and industry. Their induction to the Soderstrom Society acknowledges that effort.”

Mr. Bozuwa joined Sheridan in 1991, and has served in several roles including Chief Financial Officer, Vic”e President Global Business Development, and President at various Sheridan companies.  Since 2009 he has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Dartmouth Printing Company in Hanover, New Hampshire.  Mr. Bozuwa is active in industry affairs serving as past Chairman of the Finance Committee and past Treasurer of the Council of Science Editors. He was also the Chairman of the task force on Science, Journals, Poverty and Human Development.  Mr. Bozuwa holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.

Ms. Stricker joined Sheridan in 1998 and has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of The Sheridan Press in Hanover, Pennsylvania since 2007. Prior to her current role, she was Vice President, Corporate Development for The Sheridan Group, Vice President, Operations and Human Resources for The Sheridan Group, and President of Sheridan Books Inc. Ms. Stricker is actively working with global print partners around the world to enable both Sheridan and its partners to provide a broader range of capabilities to their customers.  This includes being a member of the International Print Network global organization as well as maintaining established relationships with other alliance partners in the UK and Asia Pacific area.  She holds a B.A. from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.

Mr. Bozuwa and Ms. Stricker will be inducted at NAPL’s annual Soderstrom Society Dinner on September 7, 2013, at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center in Chicago, Ill. NAPL will also induct 13 additional industry leaders into the Walter E. Soderstrom Society at the event.
