2013-09-09

From September 2013, Ofsted will be increasingly looking for schools to evidence that their investment in support staff, such as TAs and LSAs is providing value for money, as seen through the impact on children’s progression and attainment. Of particular focus will be children who attract the Pupil Premium; children who support staff most commonly work with. For schools to be Good or Outstanding under the new framework, Ofsted must be shown evidence that the progress for these children is ‘at least Good’.

SSAT are delighted to be able to offer a 2-day programme, delivered in partnership with schools recognised as Outstanding in this area. The programme offers both new and experienced support staff a fresh look at core responsibilities in light of the latest research and policy changes. The programme offers a packed agenda delivered through a mixture of briefing, discussion, sharing, networking, problem-solving and support.
