Hi gang, I'm listing the little yellow brat/bobber/flattracker/funbike project for sale if anybody's interested. Bike has a clean title and ran like a raped ape and is SUPER fun to ride, it goes like stink, wheelies in 1st and 2nd gear hard, stops unbelievably well for an old bike, and the tires are sticky as can be. Super fun bike to ride. (Did I already say that)?

About 2 months ago I heard a little top-end rattle, hit the kill switched and coasted it home. It turned out to be a broken valve spring retainer. The motor is out of the bike right now (because you have to remove the motor to get into the top end), it needs a valve spring retainer on the exhaust side, the rocker arms refaced, and a set of rings & top-end gaskets. $130 worth of parts or so and a weekend of reassembly.

I crashed my motocross bike 2 weekends ago and blew up my shoulder big time, I'll be off of 2-wheels for quite some time as I heal, and I won't be picking up any motors for a while to reinstall them in the frame so this little meanie is sitting in the corner of my garage gathering dust.

This is a very thorough build, I spent a shit ton on it and had a blast with the results. Time for somebody else to enjoy it.

Some of the build list (what I remember) is as follows:

gt80 tank
Web .302 lift cam ($185 plus core charge 'cause Web had no SR500 cores)
fresh gaskets and oil seal set - o-rings/gaskets for total motor/sump system seal
Replaced wet sump check valve & spring, still wet sumps if you let it sit for a month
11" shorty shocks
internally lowered forks
ultra low 7/8" superbike bar
battery eliminator kit (capacitor battery-less ignition)
aluminum throttle tube
2 pot caliper adapter & 320mm disc adapter, yamaha R6 blue dot brake caliper
NISSIN CBR1000RR brake rotor, cr125 frt brake master cylinder, braided steel line, banjo bolt brake switch
CRF450 clutch and hotstart/decomp lever
hand-tooled seat
cut and trim tabs off frame, 13" of frame section bobbed, fender bobbed
new Clutch cable
digital mini-Speedo
LED brake light
Twisted Throttle Denali dual 50W LED headlights
VM36 carb & custom jetting, Uni filter, dirt bike plunger-style choke
Hoos racing header, 4" old school supertrapp with off road use only open Supertrapp endcap & 8 plates
soda blasted jugs & case covers, and blasted, scotch-brited and clearcoated top triple clamp, bar clamps, brake drum, brake and shift lever, kickstart lever, pegs & brackets
Kenda dual-sport tires

Also have a box or two of spares, stock stuff, etc.

Price is $2500. Again, the motor is out of the bike and it needs small valvetrain parts and the motor plugged back in before you're ripping wheelies on it again, but complete and running this would be a $4200 sale on eBay all day long. Buy it, fix it, flip it, make a little cash.
