According to The Wine Institute, festive Americans consumed approximately 15.4 million cases of sparkling wine during 2011 New Year’s Eve celebrations. And when you consider it takes between 600 and 800 grapes to make one bottle that is a whole lot of bubbly going down the hatch on one evening!

In the spirit of celebrating (and minus the bubbly!), the Sprague Pest Experts want to toast to your successes in preventing and eliminating unwanted, unhealthy and potentially destructive pests from your  homes and businesses this year, and share our 2013 resolutions.

While the fireworks display from high atop the Space Needle on New Year’s Eve would have been a flashier way to share our resolutions, we were afraid you wouldn’t hear them over the booms, oooohs and ahhs, so we decided that our blog was the perfect venue to share them with you – enjoy!

Resolution # 1 – To make sure our customers in the “pest impact zone” around the Highway 99 Tunnel Project are protected from unwanted rodents and pests as the $1.96 billion dollar tunnel project gets into full swing this summer. If Ratpocalypse is coming to the Seattle waterfront the Sprague Pest Experts will be there with the latest exclusion and management techniques to keep rodents out of your business.

Resolution # 2 – To help our rapidly growing residential pest management operation in Colorado continue to grow and provide the residents of the Rocky Mountain state with the finest, most effective pest management services for their homes.

Resolution # 3 – “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.” This quote aptly sums up the Sprague Pest Experts’ uncompromising commitment to providing outstanding service and effective results for our customers each and every time we visit their home or business. But don’t think you can’t teach an old dog a new trick (have we used enough clichés yet?); we will continue to learn at every turn and embrace the latest pest management practices to ensure our customers receive the finest service possible.

Resolution # 4 – We resolve to help our many food industry clients navigate the potentially choppy waters of new food safety regulations that will significantly change the way the food industry goes about its business on a daily basis.

The Sprague Pest Experts wish you a very Happy New Year and hope 2013 is filled with happiness, health, prosperity and no pests!
