(SPOT.ph) With our water parks, underwater destinations, and Instagram-worthy spots, we can definitely say that the Philippines is what dreams are made of, specifically that of a traveler's. But we take the game to the next level through adventure parks found all over the country, each with rides and facilities more challenging than the next.

We round up some of them, with hopes of crossing them off our bucket list.

E.A.T. Danao or Eco, Educational, Extreme Adventure Tour is a thrill-seeker's playground when in the island of Bohol. It was set up to benefit the municipality of Danao and conserve the verdant valley through responsible tourism. It is two hours away from the city of Tagbilaran, but the ride's worth it especially if you're tired of the usual Chocolate Hills tour and tarsier visit. Its most extreme attraction is the Plunge which drops you from a 200-meter-high gorge where you first have to do a 45-meter free fall before being launched on a pendulum swing of up to 100 meters in diameter.

Must-try: Take the Plunge, literally (P700)

Sandbox's attractions, mostly above-ground, have views of the surrounding mountain range and wide plains. Its signature facilities are the Giant Swing, considered the country's tallest swing at 10 meters, and the Avatar One, the Philippines' first roller coaster zip line. You don't just zip down in a straight line but go through zigzags, turns, and circles over a 180-meter course that starts at 12 meters high. How's that for an adventure?

Must-try: Avatar One (P150)

Dahilayan Adventure Park is the extreme adventure spot when in Mindanao. It has Asia's first longest Dual Zipline which launches at 4,700 feet and extends for 840 meters amid lush greenery and breathtaking views of the mountains. The newest ride is the Skytower Base Jump, the highest in the country, which lets you jump off an eight-storey platform. If you're more of the laid-back type but still a bit of an adrenaline junkie, there's the Flying Lizard Canopy Glider which lets you cycle through trees, vines, and trunks while on a high wire and with a small roof above your head.

Must-tries: Skytower Base Jump (P400) and Flying Lizard Canopy Glider (P250)

E-mail: rave_of_pasig@yahoo.com.ph

Pasig gives RAVE a different meaning through the Rainforest Adventure Experience right in the city. This sprawling patch of green has a botanical garden, a flower park, a lagoon, and even outdoor pools with slides. For the daredevil, it offers the adventure park which has an obstacle course perfect for team building, facilities for rappelling and wall climbing, and Metro Manila's tallest zip line. It also has a skate park, definitely a safer option for anyone who wants to get stoked.

Must-try: Skate park (P100-P150 for three hours)

The Hundred Islands National Park, which features more than 120 islets scattered all over Lingayen Gulf, may feel like it's been around forever, but don't write it off just yet. To boost local tourism, it added more activities for the weekend adventurer in 2014. It now has facilities for wall climbing, rappelling, and even island-to-island zip lining. This exciting ride extends for 120 meters and connects Quezon Island to Governor's Island, and a longer 546-meter zip line from Governor's Island to Virgin Island.

Must-try: Governor's Island Zipline (P150-P250)

Packages start at P270/head++

"Shooting the rapids" to the Magdapio Falls (mistakenly called Pagsanjan Falls) is another common weekend activity. A better option is through the Pueblo El Salvador Nature Park in Barangay Tibatib, which requires you to walk down steep steel stairs, rappel down steel tubes, and do a whole lot of walking for about two hours.

Must-try: Trekking and rappelling via metal ladder

It's set to be as big as eight basketball courts and is loaded with fun obstacle courses—from the classics like trampolines and monkey bars to more extreme ones like a 10-meter Tarzan swing—to bring out the Ninja Warrior in you.

Must-try: Nine-meter Human Launcher
