According to reports, Dutch national team manager Louis Van Gaal has agreed a deal to become Manchester United boss next season. Van Gaal was previously the favourite for the Tottenham role but has now been made favourite for the vacant United position since the sacking of David Moyes earlier in the week. The Metro reveals that he has now completed a deal to take over from interim manager Ryan Giggs at the end of the World Cup, according to De Telegraaf, as United look to return to former glory after an extremely disappointing season. Whilst United have rejected reports they are expected to wait until the end of the season before announcing the news. According to the article, Van Gaal will hire Patrick Kluivert as his assistant with Giggs still involved with the coaching set up. This weekend sees United take on Norwich City as they look to finish the season strong with four fixtures remaining, although European football is now beyond them.
