Did you miss Part 1 of the mock? Click here.

The NFL draft is less than two months away.  I spend most of my days from mid January to late April watching as many NFL draft prospects as possible.  I find myself racing the sand that quickly funnels down the hour glass as months turn to weeks, weeks to days and finally days to hours.  Before you know it, it’s live from New York City Chicago for the 2015 NFL Draft.

From May to mid January, I’m consumed with gathering every minor detail on all 32 NFL teams.  I attempt to marry my knowledge of the NFL with my passion of evaluating NFL hopefuls each year in an attempt to give my listeners / readers a unique glimpse behind the curtain.  It’s the primary reason that KBME, SportsTalk 790 in Houston, TX gave me an NFL Draft / Texans show on their airwaves at this time of year.

In “The Front Office” I have internal dialogue as if I’m the General Manager of all 32 teams.  I share my thoughts on the discussions that I believe are ongoing behind close doors that the fans and most media never get to hear.  In this mock draft I don’t try and guess what each NFL team will pick.  I make the decision based off their current personnel, offensive and defensive schemes and talent available based solely off my evaluation of each prospect.

WARNING:  This mock draft isn’t going to be a “consensus” of what you may hear on radio, TV or around the water cooler.  It’s solely based on my personal evaluation of each prospect and view on what would be in the best interest of the team long-term.  I’ll also include some of my “front office” discussion on other players that were considered and why I passed.

17: San Diego (Front Office Discussion)  WR – Dorial Green-Beckham (Missouri),  RB – Todd Gurley (Georgia),  SS – Landon Collins (Alabama)  and OT – Cedric Ogbuehi (Texas A&M) each bring value to our team.  Dorial Green-Beckham is a raw weapon where the sky’s the limit.  We fear his off-field pass but Malcom Floyd is in the last year of his deal and turns 34 this year.  Philip Rivers loves his big receiver and Green-Beckham has the ability to become the most talented one that he’s ever had.

It seems like a lifetime ago when we were able to pair one of the top running backs in the game, LaDainian Tomlinson with Rivers in the backfield.  Todd Gurley gives us the opportunity to return back to those glory days.  As Philip gets older, we’d like to ease the workload that we’ve given him in the past.

Eric Weddle is one of the top free safeties in the game and we want to partner him with someone equal to that praise.  We feel that Landon Collins could be in the class of Weddle.  Having two solid studs on the back of our defense gives us more confidence to become more creative in front of them.

Philip Rivers will be 34 by the time this year comes to an end.  He’s never been the most mobile of quarterbacks.  Getting him the protection he needs is at the forefront of our thought process.  It led us to re-sign King Dunlap at LT.  Cedric Ogbuehi is a long armed beast that will upgrade our play on the right side of the line.  We never viewed DJ Fluker as an offensive tackle long-term.  We were able to survive with him there but now in the best interest of the whole line, we plan on shifting him to where he’ll be more beneficial to us at guard.  Chargers select OT, Texas A&M, Cedric Ogbuehi

18: Kansas City (Front Office Discussion)  WR – Dorial Green-Beckham,  CB – Kevin Johnson (Wake Forest)  and  ILB – Stephone Anthony (Clemson) became the trio we really focused on.  Despite having Sean Smith and last year’s draft choice, Phillip Gaines, we have to consider Johnson due to his coverage skills and lack of depth behind Smith and Gaines.  Johnson is better in coverage than any corner we have under contract.

Derrick Johnson is coming back from injury, we just released Joe Mays to save some cap money and James Michael-Johnson is the next man up.  Anthony’s complete game as an ILB is impressive and something that we could build around in the middle of our defense.  DJ will be 34 years old this year, he’s in the last year of his contract and as we mentioned before, he’s coming back from injury.  It’s hard for us not to turn in the card with Stephone Anthony, especially with the depth at the receiver position in the draft.

While receivers are deep this year and we could wait until later in the draft, we need the best possible solution for Alex Smith to target.  Dwayne Bowe won’t be with us this year.  That leaves only Albert Wilson as the only pure wide receiver we feel good about.  Dorial Green-Beckham was made in a lab.  Great combination of size and speed.  He can win deep or take a quick slant and get physical with defenders over the middle of the field like Brandon Marshall.  He’s raw but his potential leads us to believe that he could be a top 5 receiver in the NFL.  Chiefs select WR, Missouri, Dorial Green-Beckham

19: Cleveland (Front Office Discussion)  WR – Devin Smith (Ohio State) became our decision after the Chiefs made their pick.  There wasn’t much discussion when we came back on the clock.  Our top receivers were already selected but we got a close look at Devin Smith throughout his career at Ohio State.  The school did him a disservice by only showing off his go route ability.  Now that we have several possibilities at our QB position we have to get them the right weapons.  Smith is that weapon.  What we didn’t get to see in his college film, we did get to during his workouts leading up until tonight.  Devin is insanely comfortable tracking the deep ball with unshakeable concentration.  He has the speed to win up top.  He’s too quick to be pressed.  Whether it’s deep or anywhere on the route tree, he highpoints the ball aggressively.  He’s a natural hands catcher with stellar body manipulation midair.  Browns select WR, Ohio State, Devin Smith

20: Philadelphia (Front Office Discussion)  RB – Todd Gurley (Georgia),  OLB – Randy Gregory (Nebraska), OG – Brandon Scherff (Iowa)  and CB – Kevin Johnson (Wake Forest) were all considered for team Chip.  LeSean McCoy is gone.  We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to move McCoy’s salary and get a starter back in return.  LeSean is an extremely talented back but here we sit and are able to add a dynamic back in Gurley that would allow us to not miss a beat and saves us tons of money.

Our offense is set up to be successful with a multitude of different types of backs and receivers but it’s pertinent that we keep a solid line and need to fine our quarterback of the future.  There isn’t a quarterback that we like here but the young guard out of Iowa is perfect for us.  Brandon Scherff could come in an fill a void and allow us to create the lanes and protection that we need for whichever quarterback will be running our offense in 2015 and beyond.

Cary Williams and Bradley Fletcher are gone.  They didn’t live up to the expectations we had for them.  Kevin Johnson is the type of guy that our defense could benefit from.  His coverage skills would allow the time to get to the quarterback.

Marcus Smith got abused in the media in 2014 but we haven’t written him off.  He should make huge strides this season.  That being said, when you have a physical freak like Randy Gregory available to add to your pass rush, you do it.  We envision a healthy rotation between Gregory and Smith playing across from Connor Barwin to go with an interior rotation of Kiko Alonso, Mychal Kendricks and DeMeco Ryans.  The additions of Kiko and Randy give us one of the most versatile linebacker groups in the NFL.  Randy has deadly change of direction, can bend the edge at 45 degrees and uses his length to add superior torque when he gets leverage.  Chip understands the rawness of Randy’s game and feels like he can mold him as he planned to do with one of his former players, Dion Jordan.  Eagles select OLB, Nebraska, Randy Gregory

21: Cincinnati (Front Office Discussion)  DE – Owa Odighizuwa (UCLA)  and  OT – TJ Clemmings (PITT) were the two we felt fit us perfectly.  Owa comes in a will play technique savvy and help us immediately against the run.  His effort is something that we could utilize opposite of Carlos Dunlap.

Drafting a tackle was something we had to do.  Andrew Whitworth and Andre Smith are both in contract years.  Andrew will be 34 by years end.  Ideally, we’d like to kick him back inside and allow our rookie to get some on the job training this season.   TJ comes off the ball hard on running downs.  It’s impossible for anyone to get off his blocks when he squares up.  His arm length bails him out a lot in college.  As he develops under our scheme, we imagine he’ll secure our blindside protection for the next decade.  Bengals select OT, PITT, TJ Clemmings

22: Pittsburgh (Front Office Discussion)  DE – Owa Odighizuwa (UCLA), CB – Kevin Johnson (Wake Forest), OT – Andrus Peat (Stanford) and SS – Landon Collins (Alabama) would be welcomed.  Owa would be a  jolt to the new era of Steeler defenses.  He’s physical, technically sound.  His ability to help vs. the run or provide an increased pass rush or both needed, desperately in our defense.

Andrus Peat would be a natural addition to the our offensive line.  He could give us flexibility with Kelvin Beachum and Marcus Gilbert.  Kelvin is actually in a contract year.  Peat would fit nicely on a line in which we employee fellow Stanford Cardinal, David DeCastro.  Peat is smart, savvy but needs to find his inner animal.  Mike Munchak could mold this clay into a franchise left tackle.

Dick LeBeau is gone and along with him we shall see the departures of franchise corner pieces like Troy Polamalu.  After the hair’s departure, our defense won’t be the same without a special strong safety that can manipulate what opposing quarterbacks see.  Landon Collins could become that missing piece and help turn the page on the LeBeau / Polamalu era.

Polamalu isn’t the only veteran defensive back not expected back.  Ike Taylor is a free agent and isn’t expected back.  We need a shutdown corner to compete with AJ Green and whichever big named receiver the Browns and Ravens bring in this offseason.  Johnson will be that guy for us.  Kevin has insane instincts and could  make a how-to video on backpedaling and transitioning in coverage.  He covers top notch guys with ease.  It’s so effortless for him.  We haven’t been blown away by his physicality or lack thereof in the running game but we hope to shelter him from as much of that duty until he develops in that aspect.  Steelers sign CB, Wake Forest, Kevin Johnson

23: Detroit (Front Office Discussion)  RB – Todd Gurley (Georgia), CB – PJ Williams (FSU), OT – Andrus Peat (Stanford) and OG/OT – Brandon Scherff (Iowa) are all guys we’re considering with an obvious lean towards the offensive side of the ball.  Todd Gurley is a man playing this game.  To have the options to add Gurley to Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate and Eric Ebron is mind-boggling.  Matthew deserves a high caliber back that he can lean on.  We haven’t done to bad with past first round selections from Georgia school on offense (Stafford / Calvin).

Andrus Peat would allow us to shift Riley Reiff back to right tackle or even kick him inside to guard.  Stafford needs protection and we have to be a balanced offense.  Peat could be a steal for us here late in the first round.

Darius Slay has been everything that we had hoped for.  We still need someone on the other side to partner with him.  The trio of Slay, Glover Quin and PJ Williams in our secondary could really vault our defense into the top tier of the NFL.  Much like Quin at safety, we’ve been intrigued with not only PJ’s coverage ability but his dependability against the run as well.

Three years ago we drafted an offensive tackle out of Iowa named Riley Reiff with this exact pick, 23rd overall.  Here we are three years later and deciding to follow the same trail and select and offensive tackle / guard with the 23rd pick overall, out of Iowa.  We can plug Scherff in immediately at guard and upgrade our line.  As he develops, hopefully we’ll have bookend tackles with the two former Hawkeyes.  Their versatility allows us to not only have a stellar line but also carry less offensive lineman on the active roster come game day.  While he’s lacking in core strength and consistent hand placement, he is a weapon in the running game day one.  Lions select OG/OT, Iowa, Brandon Scherff

24: Arizona (Front Office Discussion)  RB – Todd Gurley (Georgia), CB – PJ Williams (FSU),  OLB – Owa Odighizuwa (UCLA)  and  ILB – Stephone Anthony (Clemson) are the apple of our eyes.  Gurley, combined with Andre Ellington could give us one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL.  They each add their own dynamic and allow us to not overwork the other one.  We feel comfortable knowing that if either get injured, the other could carry the load.

Owa gives us a talented starter to our thin outside linebacker group.  Alex Okafor and Owa Odighizuwa will not only give us two physical starters on the outside but it’ll also give us the most difficult names for our fans to pronounce.

We play in a difficult division and while all the talk is about the legion of doom, the 49ers inside linebackers and the Rams defensive line, we have one of the best corners in the game with Patrick Peterson.  Finding him a partner in crime on the other side is a mission we accept.  PJ Williams is the perfect type of corner to take opposing teams #2 receiver as Patrick locks down their star.

Daryl Washington is an amazing talent but we have to live life as if he’s not going to be here.  There’s no telling how long we can rely on having him in the middle of our defense, even when he does return from suspension.  Stephone Anthony gives us some comfort and improves the core of our defense with Washington out.  When and if Daryl return from hiatus, the duo of Washington and Anthony would be able to become the next Navarro Bowman and Patrick Willis.  Anthony has the ability to spy the Kaepernicks and Wilsons of the world.  He has insane instincts and explodes to the ball.  No matter what he’s doing, he’s doing it with intensity and violence.  He’s a caged animal that we can let out in the open on game day.  Cardinals select ILB, Clemson, Stephone Anthony

25Carolina(Front Office Discussion)  RB – Todd Gurley (Georgia), CB – PJ Williams (FSU),  WR – Nelson Agholor (USC) and  OT – Andrus Peat (Stanford) are in the mix.  Cam Newton is our franchise quarterback and we have to do a better job of getting him weapons and protection.  Nelson Agholor could be the go-to guy for Cam.  Kelvin Benjamin is our boom or bust offensive weapon.  On every throw he could do something amazing or drop a simple pass.  Agholor would be our third down weapon.  He’s capable of being our Jeremy Maclin.  We can’t overstate how much it would help Newton adding a receiver of this caliber.

DeAngelo Williams will no longer be apart of our backfield.  Jonathan Stewart turns 28 in a couple of weeks and is going into his 8th NFL season.  Fozzy Whitaker isn’t an every down back.  Todd Gurley ensures Cam that he’ll have a running mate for the bulk of his prime with our organization.

Josh Norman needed to adapt from playing at Coastal Carolina to going against quarterbacks like Matt Ryan and Drew Brees.  He’s growing into a solid starter.  Bene’ Benwikere outperformed our expectations for him.  Tre Boston was a steal for us.  We still need to find another corner and would like for him to be on par with Norman but would prefer him to be a level above.  PJ Williams can be that guy for us.  The realization sets in that this would be a young unit but we’re okay with them growing together as a talented secondary.

It wasn’t fair to Cam for us to ask him to play behind that line in 2014.  Getting our quarterback the best line possible has moved to the top of our to-do list.  Andrus Peat is the first step in this mission.  He’s not a finished project but he’s technique savvy.  He’s extremely agile and deadly cutting the defensive linemen.  He has the ability to get out and run, easily gets to the 2nd level and quick enough for combo blocks.  His kick is effortless and shows active arms.  Peat gets back into position laterally and is smart enough to recognize and pick up stunts.  His intelligence and athleticism will allow for us to easily play him on the left or right side.  Panthers select OT, Stanford, Andrus Peat

26: Baltimore (Front Office Discussion)  WR – Nelson Agholor (USC), CB – PJ Williams (FSU)  and  OT – La’el Collins (LSU) are the key prospects to help us in 2015.  The situation at cornerback was brutal for us in 2014.  Adding a prospect with the talent of PJ could ensure that we don’t fall back into that trap in 2015.  It’s not our highest priority, due to the fact that Jimmy Wilson and Lardarius Webb should be back.  Jimmy is in the last year of his rookie contract but we’ll re-sign him this season.

Steve Smith Sr will soon be 36 years old.  We’re excited in what we have in 2nd year receivers, Michael Campanaro and Jeremy Butler.  Marlon Brown is a solid 4th or 5th receiver but we need to get our primary target for Joe Flacco.  Nelson Agholor fits that billing for us.  He’s the type of young, talent receiver that Flacco could rely.  Adding Nelson into the mix will strengthen the value of Campanaro and Butler.  This trio should be the face of our offense for the next  few years.

Ricky Wagner stepped in for us on the right side last year.  We still need someone that can be that right tackle for a decade.  La’el Collins fit’s the description.  Our hopes of him developing into our left tackle are low.  We’re fine with that as Eugene Monroe is locked up thru 2018.  Monroe and Collins should give Flacco to become Joe Cool, not only in the playoffs but throughout the regular season as well.  Ravens select OT, LSU, La’el Collins

27: Dallas (Front Office Discussion)  RB – Todd Gurley (Georgia), CB – PJ Williams (FSU),  SS – Landon Collins (Alabama),  OT – Jake Fisher (Oregon)  and DE – Owa Odighizuwa our several possible options.  We’ve gotten to where we are by investing heavily in our offensive line.  The media has been focused on what running back we will sign.  We feel that if we take care of the line, Tony Romo and the running backs’ job becomes much easier.  Jake Fisher could become our bookend with Tyron Smith.  Giving Romo the time in the pocket he needs gives us unlimited possibilities on offense.  Whoever our running back is, he’ll see his abilities increased by our talent line.

While adding to the line seems like the best way to go offensively, we’d be naïve to believe a dynamic back such as Todd Gurley couldn’t do some special things behind the line we’ve already created.  Gurley is the best back of the bunch and he’s young.  He’ll have a tremendous run in our system as he should play behind the same line for at least 3-4 years.

Helping our offense is tempting but we have to improve this defense.  Demarcus Lawrence will get better each year.  We got a stud in last year’s 2nd round pick.  Now we need that guy that can play opposite of him.  Owa Odighizuwa can be that guy.  He’ll lock down the right tackle and cut off running lanes.  When we need him to get after the quarterback, he can bull rush with getoff and pinch the pocket with Lawrence across from him.

Morris Claiborne hasn’t lived up to his top 10 ability.  While he’s under contract for a long time, we’ll probably cut our loss well before that contract sees 70% of it’s life.  PJ Williams is a guy that we’d be interested in adding to our secondary.  His addition could help move us past the setback of Morris.

For years we’ve tried to solidify the safety position.  Now we have the opportunity and we will not let it pass us by.   Landon can add coverage ability to our strong safety position and apply a band-aid to some of our mistakes up front.  After watching Antrel Rolle for years up close in our division, we’ve decided to find our own Antrel.  We value Collins ability to be a true “safety” and look to never allow anyone past him.  His instincts and understanding of his responsibilities are priceless to defense.  Cowboys select SS, Alabama, Landon Collins

28: Denver (Front Office Discussion)  C – Cam Erving (FSU), OT – Jake Fisher (Oregon)  and ILB – Paul Dawson (TCU) are the guys we’ve been focused on during our pre-draft meetings.  Now that Wade Phillips is our defensive coordinator we need to upgrade at the linebacker position and add depth.  Paul Dawson playing next to Brandon Marshall with Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware on the edges is the stuff that movies are made off.  His addition would be the perfect way for us to welcome Wade back to Denver.

Let’s be honest, our team’s success begins and ends with old number 18.  We have to get him comfortable and buy him time to limp around the pocket.  Adding Jake Fisher at right tackle with Ryan Clady on the left side is the best first step to making that happen.  Coach Kubiak is bring the zone running scheme back to Denver.  Fisher can not only protect Peyton, he can also get out and open up holes on the move.

Both of those guys are tempting but nothing makes Peyton more comfortable in the pocket than knowing he has his hands under the butt of someone capable of keep the quickest guys off of him.  Cam Erving spent tons of time at Florida State as a left tackle.  He was out of position there but knowing that he had the versatility and ability to play there in college on a championship team goes along way in building confidence.  He’s a mammoth for the interior of the line, standing almost 6’6.  He’ll have to go to a team with a tall quarterback.  It just so happens that not only is Peyton tall but our backup, Brock Osweiler is 6’7.  Cameron has arms that are over 34” long.  He’ll use those to protect Peyton from the interior rush and when he gets out running in our zone scheme.  Erving drives off the ball to the 2nd level and has the football IQ to patrol the interior on inside zone runs and adjust his line for Manning’s benefit.  Broncos select C, FSU, Cameron Erving

29: Indianapolis (Front Office Discussion)  RB – Todd Gurley (Georgia), ILB – Paul Dawson  (TCU)  and  WR – Nelson Agholor (USC) are guys that we all are battling over in the war room.  We’ve said our goodbyes to the great #87.  Reggie Wayne will not be out there with Andrew Luck this year.  We still have TY Hilton in house and two young guys that we’re intrigued by but can’t full rely on both being studs.  Nelson Agholor can come in and be Luck’s primary receiver and allow Hilton to work off of that.  Having Nelson will allow us to develop Donte and Duron at our own pace.

D’Qwell Jackson and Jerrell Freeman are good for our defense but we’re looking to build a great defense.  Paul Dawson’s addition would kickstart that process.  Dawson’s agility and instincts would allow us to match up with the most unique looks from opposing offenses.  D’Qwell or Jerrell could stay home and man the middle of the defense behind Josh Chapman and play off him.

Andrew Luck has taken us to the playoffs on his back.  I admit that our trade for Trent Richardson set us back and limited our growth.  Regardless of the miss, we have to throw another dart at the board and there’s no running back that could make us feel more at ease with the decision that Todd Gurley.  Todd is deadly in any manner that we would want to use him.  He has excellent vision, instincts, patient and his most important trait for us…he has a nose for the end zone.  Hopefully, we won’t need Andrew Luck picking up the ball in the playoffs and plowing thru defenders for a touchdown.  Colts select RB, Georgia, Todd Gurley

30: Green Bay (Front Office Discussion)  CB- PJ Williams (FSU), OT – Jake Fisher (Oregon)  and ILB – Paul Dawson (TCU) each display attributes that can get us back to the NFC Championship game and hopefully the Super Bowl.  We could possibly lose Tramon Williams and Davon House this offseason.  While we still have Sam Shields, Casey Hayward and Micah Hyde but we have to reload.  PJ Williams wouldn’t be forced to start immediately but if he came in and beat out Casey and Micah we would be comfortable with him starting outside opposite of Sam.

Bryan Bulaga may also decide to leave us as well.  Jake Fisher can come in here at start at right tackle for us in 2015.  Who knows, maybe he beats out David Bakhtiari on the blindside and we move David to right tackle.  Having Fisher in house gives us a lot of possibilities.  Even if we re-sign Bulaga, it’d be nice to have a swing tackle that could step in and maybe even upgrade the position.

Clay Matthews did an excellent job for us last year.  He played inside and outside and it was probably unfair for us to ask him to wear both hats.  We need Clay on the edge chasing quarterbacks.  At the same time we have to upgrade the inside linebacker position.  Paul Dawson is a “2 for 1” pick as he accomplishes both tasks for our defense.  We’ve needed someone of his caliber roaming the interior of our defense for years.  His agility allows him to slip blocks with ease.  He’s great in coverage with the ability to run with WR / TE / RB on their routes.  Dawson’s ability  to spy the quarterback, running back or an offense that runs play fakes, jet sweeps etc, is incredibly valuable to us.  Paul will chase sideline to sideline.  His disguised blitzes will be highly effective in our offense with Julius Peppers and Matthews tying up the tackles.  Packers select ILB, TCU, Paul Dawson

31: Seattle (Front Office Discussion)  WR – Nelson Agholor (USC), OT – Jake Fisher (Oregon) and CB – Jalen Collins will each take a up a bulk of the discussion in this room.  Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse are solid role players in our offense.  Chris Matthews played his best on the biggest stage and Ricardo Lockette is a special teams ace that can add value by threatening the defense deep on offense.  Neither is the long-term answer to the question, “who’s Russell Wilson’s ace receiver”.  We got carried away with where we drafted Paul Richardson.  Kevin Norwood could last in this organization but will have to fight his way up the food chain first.  By adding Nelson Agholor we give our quarterback a down in, down out star.  The other guys will fall into place as long as we can solidify “the guy”.

Justin Britt came in and held his own on the right side of our line.  We’re about to give Russell silly money and it would be comforting to know that at the bottom of the first round we weree able to draft a guy that would make Russ fell as snug as when his mom would tuck him in at night.  Fisher gives us that.  His value for the next decade is too much to not at least consider.

Brandon Browner left.  Byron Maxwell is leaving.  They keep leaving but as long as we have a healthy Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman, we’ll keep plugging in star corners opposite of Richard that’s better than the last one.  Jalen Collins is the next guy but he’s way more than just the next guy.  He’s a 6’2 corner with 32+” arms and loves to press receivers to the wall.  Jalen doesn’t have great hips but with his measurables  and speed he overcomes it.  Collins isn’t one dimensional.  He’ll come up and get leverage on blockers if he has to and shed them to help vs. the running game.  If you can believe it, we just got our best secondary group ever.  Seahawks select CB, LSU, Jalen Collins

32: New England (Front Office Discussion)  WR – Nelson Agholor (USC), CB – PJ Williams (FSU) and DE/OLB – Owa Odighizuwa are the group of prospects that we’ve narrowed it down to, that offer us the best opportunity to repeat.  Brady took the offense to the Super Bowl with Brandon LaFell, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola as receivers.  Edelman was great, LaFell was surprisingly adequate and Amendola had his moments.  In our pursuit of ring number five for Tom Brady, we would like to get him a weapon out wide that has the talent to make our system and Brady better than what they already are.  Agholor would replace LaFell as Tom’s top target outside, allowing Brandon to go back to more natural second fiddle outside.

Darrelle Revis helped get us to our last championship and we’re very appreciative of that…just not $20 million appreciative.  Darrelle is going to be Darrelle and probably chase the money.  If that’s the case we wish him the best but have to replace him.  PJ Williams tenacity will help us on our journey back to the playoffs.  PJ has the ability to start right away for us and fits what we look for in cornerbacks…talented.

Rob Ninkovich has far surpassed anything that we could of imagined for him.  Rob is 31 and 2016 is the last year of his contract.  Owa Odighizuwa does a lot of the same things as Nink but is much more physically gifted.  Owa has the versatility to play outside linebacker or defensive end in our different looks.  Odighizuwa disrupts the offensive gameplan.   It doesn’t matter if they’re running at him or simply looking to get the ball of in the passing game.  We love what he’ll bring to our team at left defensive end, opposite of Chandler Jones.  Owa is a natural knee bender, that plays with balance, leverage and power.  Patriots select OLB/DE, UCLA, Owamagbe Odighizuwa
