There aren’t a ton of Fantasy Basketball tools available out there, but we happened to track down some of the best, including a few by HashtagBasketball.com and FantasySp.com.

1. FantasyPros.com’s My Playbook

Without question, this is the absolute most powerful Fantasy Basketball tool out there. It compiles the rankings of 10 or so Fantasy Basketball experts, and it then gives you an assortment of tools to mess with. It connects with your league, downloads who’s owned and who’s available, and then compares the rosters to their expert rankings.

From their “Who Should I Start?” tool to the “Waiver Assistant,” from the “Trade Analyzer” to the “Start/Sit Assistant,” this one suite of tools is everything you need.

Go through the slide show to see all of the other Fantasy tools out there.

2. FantasySP.com’s Fantasy Basketball Trade Analyzer

These guys have done a great job wrangling together several different types of Fantasy Basketball tools, but I think this one is pretty interesting.

Input the players that are expected to be part of the deal, like let’s say someone is considering trading Avery Bradley and Victor Oladipo to another Fantasy team for Klay Thompson and Serge Ibaka. By running them through this tool, they’ll see that Bradley/Oladipo is just barely the better set of players.

3. BasketballMonster.com’s Hot Players

This site has a ton of interesting things going on, but specifically, you can find out which players’ Fantasy values have changed the most in different spans (last week, two weeks, last month, or even a range of days).

Victor Oladipo, by the way, has seen the biggest increase in Fantasy value over the past two weeks among all guards.

4. HashtagBasketball.com’s NBA Defense vs. Position

Another solid Fantasy tool from the Hastagbasketball.com guys, they track the best and worst defenses against specific positions. In other words, finding out things like starting your point guards against the Pelicans, Nets and Lakers is a very good thing, while considering benching power forwards that face the Spurs, Knicks and Pacers.

5. FantasySp.com’s Fantasy Team Analyzer

This is a great tool to use – and very easy. Just clip and paste your team roster in one big swipe (don’t worry about sorting out team names and stats or whatever), and their tool finds the player names, and assigns them their ratings.

You can instantly see which players are your most valuable and which are expendable.

6. Playing Time Tracker

Our next Fantasy Basketball tool comes from the HashtagBasketball.com guys once again. Find out which players are seeing a higher average in playing time over the past seven days compared to their seasonal averages. For instance, right now, you’ll see that Glenn Robinson III, Joe Harris and Tim Frazier are all averaging an increase of over 19 minutes per game right now.

However, Deron Williams, Willie Cauley-Stein and Raul Neto have all seen their playing time decrease by 16 or more minutes per game in the past week.

7. FantasySp.com’s NBA Who Should I Start?

Simply put in two different players names, click the Analyze button, and get a whole host of side-by-side comparisons between the two players, including their latest news, performance trends, own/start breakdown by percentage, expert consensus, and player breakdowns.

8. RotoWorld’s NBA Headlines

I like to have a tab open in my browser at all times with the Rotoworld headlines running in it. It keeps you updated on every major injury or roster news item you need to know.

9. FantasyPros.com’s Consensus Expert Rankings

With 10 Fantasy Basketball writers submitting their rankings regularly to this site, you can see the compiled rankings together, all at once. This will give you a great idea of which players are free agents in your league that you should consider picking up. Plus, you can use this information in possible trade talks.
